Code Scanner now supports scanning using the front facing camera on your device.
This should make it much easier to scan codes whilst your device is in a charging dock, attached to a keyboard, in a stand or perhaps just lying on a flat surface.
This version also includes the following updates and bug fixes:
- Fixed issue where camera preview was not filling the enter screen on the scanner view.
- Fixed issue where the camera orientation was not updating properly on iPad when the device was rotated.
- Migrated data storage from Realm to CoreData (Realm will be removed in future update which should allow for a smaller download size and make it easier to add support for syncing your data using iCloud).
This should make it much easier to scan codes whilst your device is in a charging dock, attached to a keyboard, in a stand or perhaps just lying on a flat surface.
