Convert Inch Fractions Properly - Proper Understandable Vulgar Fractions of Imperial Inches Conversions To And From Metric Distances Converter!

This time we've only fixed a couple of minor bugs in the screen layouts - more new features to come!

• Fixed: On iPhones only: If you rotated to landscape orientation on the settings or help screens and returned to the main screen, the metric results area didn't show.
• Fixed: On iPhones only: The bottom of the settings screen wasn't visible in landscape orientation.
• Tweaked: On iPhones only: On the main screen, the settings and help icons were ever so slightly inside the status bar area.

Would you believe... yet another cool new feature?!

In the options screen you can now choose to have the vulgar inch fractions rounded to one of 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 or 1/64th! Sometimes the usual default accuracy of 1/64th is just too much.

Yet another GREAT NEW FEATURE!! :)

As requested, there is now a new option to display the Imperial results as decimals. Meaning that you can enter "1/2" an inch but the display will show the result as "0.5 INCHES".

Just look on the options screen to find the new setting :)

• Tweaked: The "dragging up and down" of the results now works really, really smoothly and (hopefully) much more intuitively!
• Tweaked: Layouts are now fully customised for each phone and iPad aspect ratio. All layouts very, very carefully tweaked to perfect them.
• Tweaked: When displaying a zero in the results view the zero is grey, instead of orange, to make it clear that it is not part of the results (see the first and last screenshots for examples!).
• Tweaked: New and slick loading screen.
• Tweaked: Now the status bar is shown in the app, to bring it in to line with iOS 8 standards.
• Updated: Internal libraries for full iOS 8 and 64 bit compatibility!
• Fixed: The app would only allow entry of meters to three decimal places, whereas you could enter up to four decimal places via millimetres. Metres now allows four decimal places as it should.
• Fixed: Dragging the boxes with the results up and down, the first time you came to the screen, would often result in very odd behaviour. But only the first time, so you'd think that maybe it was you... (was it you? No, okay you can relax - it wasn't).
• Fixed: Entering 999999 feet, then dragging that down to inches, then entering calculator view, wouldn't show the whole amount of inches (they'd be truncated with an ellipsis). Now it shows properly.
• Fixed: If you entered an inch fraction, and the maximum feet, then dragged the feet all the way down, the fraction would be shown as an ellipsis.

A GREAT NEW FEATURE!! Now you can enter DECIMAL FRACTIONS FOR IMPERIAL! When you hit 'OK' the decimal fractions are converted into useable measurements: decimal fractions of yards go into feet inches and fractions of an inch, decimal fractions of feet go into inches and vulgar fractions of an inch you get it! :)

This has taken lot more work than you may think - heck it took more than anyone thought! But it's been thoroughly, thoroughly tested and is ready for real world use at last!

Note: Internally no calculations have changed since internally the software only uses fractions of an inch, only screen logic needed to be changed. So don't worry - no calculations have been changed for this release! :)

Also... another much requested feature: Added a clear all icon in the middle, lower part of the main and the entry screens (hold it down for half a second). Apparently not everyone likes the shake-to-clear (which still works - if you do like it!).

And found and fixed some minor bugs (but note; no bugs in the conversions that are given!):

• Fixed a bug which left a stray numerator value showing after a swipe-to-clear in inch entry.
• Fixed a crash that could occur when conversions to inches were within one 254th of a whole inch.
• Fixed a bug which prevented decimal fractions being entered smaller than 0.09.
• Fixed a bug which resulted in the app exiting under some rare circumstances.

Fixed a couple of graphics glitches:

• Sliding the boxes up and down really, really fast (like no one ever does!) could result in them getting stuck and stacked up on each other. No calculation error occurred however.
• The word ""INCHES"" sometimes was showing as ""IN...ES"" on iPads

Internal tweaks and performance enhancements

Fixed a bug which affected some localized regions (not USA, Canada, UK, Australia) which meant that the display of fractions involving 64ths of an inch were rounded up by 1/64. Sincere apologies for not seeing this sooner! And sincere thanks to one very helpful customer who helped track down the problem! Please update! :)

• Fixed misleading message when not logged in to FB
• Fixed occasional unexpected exit of the app
