Cortado Workplace

The app name is changed to Workplace.

This release fixes some issues with the Files app. Documents opened with the Files app from the Cortado source are now automatically saved back to the server.

This version fixes several bugs in the app and brings some improvements. Among other things, the uploading of folders is now easily possible again and the sorting function works properly again. For importing or uploading videos in the app, the quality of the videos can now be selected in the settings. This can be used for videos, e.g. either in original quality or in a compressed version to be uploaded to the server.

This version fixes a problem with the Files App on iOS 12.

This version fixes a problem with the Files App on iOS 11. Documents opened with the Files App from the Cortado Source will now again be automatically saved back to your server. We also dropped 32-bit device support with this version.

The sharing of files in virtual data rooms has been improved. Invitations to projects can now be resent by the project admin. Additionally now, project participants again have the option to leave projects.
Using the app in the offline mode has also been improved. Now only the operations able to be carried out offline are displayed.
There are also improvements in folder operations. Folders that are located in ZIP folders can now be uploaded and downloaded directly.

An important note about problems with folder operations:
Moving or copying files to or from an iPad/iPhone can result in data loss when folders or file names contain special characters. We’re working at full steam to create a solution and will post an update here in the near future.

With this release, we have placed the focus on improving everyday work with files and folders. In particular, copying, moving and deleting multiple files is now far simpler and faster. Further improvements to the app’s feedback capabilities have also been made with this new version.

As one of the very few productivity apps in the appstore, we now support the iOS Document Provider! This feature, in combination with our secure file access to network drives, allow a completely new way of mobile working - without Open-In App juggling.
