Right out of the box, Cozmo’s ready to be your smartest (and smallest) sidekick. With the 2.0.0 upgrade, Cozmo looks to you to keep him tuned-up, energized and entertained. In doing so, you'll develop his skills and abilities, making him a sharper playmate and partner in crime.

Cozmo can be protective of his Cubes, and at times may doze off while guarding them. While he snoozes, carefully flip each Cube. But be careful, if he senses movement, you’ll disrupt his slumber. Never wake a sleeping robot.

Cozmo has a lot of power under the hood. For the first time, you can take advantage of everything Cozmo can do through Code Lab. Using a simple drag and drop system of interlocking blocks, Code Lab gives unprecedented access to the advanced robotics and AI systems that power Cozmo. Now at your fingertips are specific actions including:
• Movement: Make Cozmo drive forward, backward, turn left or right and control his speed
• Actions: Control and lift his head, change his backpack colors or have him say short phrases
• Animations: Access dozens of Cozmo’s unique animations
• Events: Trigger specific actions like having Cozmo react to a face, a smile or a frown, or use his cubes to trigger a reaction
• Control: Set how many times a program will run, either a set amount of times or continuously in a loop

Code Lab bridges the gap to learning a more sophisticated coding language in the most creative way possible. And it’s so easy anyone can use it.

• Robots and hiccups? Yup, it's a thing, and Cozmo isn't immune. Once they strike, he'll look to you to help get rid of them.
• Cozmo’s learned a neat little trick; Peekaboo! Now he gets inspired to play when he sees your face. He’ll hide his eyes behind his lift, then pop out to see who’s around. If he spots you, he’ll want to play again. And again and again. Get ready to have some fun.

• With the new 1.4.1 software release, Cozmo gets dizzy when you move him too quickly. A small shake leaves him woozy. A harder jolt, and he’ll wobble as he drives. Shake him real hard, and he’ll give you a piece of his mind. (This update was not his favorite.)
• Cozmo can now build a pyramid! If you give him three upright Power Cubes, Cozmo can construct a glowing pyramid that will rival the one at Giza.
