As part of a joint safety initiative, Boeing and Jeppesen have been developing tools for allowing better management of alertness and fatigue. CrewAlert is the first app designed specifically to help airlines and their crews manage alertness and fatigue. Built on the Boeing Alertness Model (BAM), a mathematical prediction model of alertness, the CrewAlert app puts scientific knowledge in the palm of your hand.

Please Note: This application is designed for professional pilots and the airlines that they work for. Before you purchase, please read this description in full as well as the Application License Agreement to see if CrewAlert is for you.

- Allows for creation of what-if scenarios
- Allows for entry of sleep diaries of either actual or planned sleep, which can be used to investigate the effectiveness of potential sleep strategies.

- Built-in fatigue mitigation strategies*
- Efficient fatigue reporting*
- Participate in fatigue data collection
- Alerts and predictions also on Apple Watch*
- Acclimatisation advice
- Estimated body clock time*

For Crew Schedulers:

Sleep/wake log “extend to previous/next”. Two new buttons have been added in the edit dialogue of a s/w log to easier covering a period. The buttons will become active if an adjoinging journal exists in the next coming 24h and makes it easy to extend the current journal to “reach up” to the log.

Tap-drop-down on sleep periods. A drop down revealing start and stop time will now be displayed when tapping a sleep period in a sleep/wake log.

Faster entry of sleep periods. The start time of a sleep period will now default to the time tapped (double tap) when editing a sleep/wake log.
