About Cruelty-Free Giving

With Animal Aid’s Cruelty-Free Giving app, you can check whether UK medical charities fund experiments on animals, and make sure that the research you are supporting is humane. The app provides a searchable database of medical charities and their policies on animal research, and includes nearly 290 organisations.

The Cruelty-Free Giving app is part of Animal Aid’s Victims of Charity campaign, which aims to end the funding of animal experiments by medical research charities. Another aspect of the campaign involves exposing charity-funded animal experiments on the Victims of Charity website (www.victimsofcharity.org), where the public can submit complaints directly to the organisations involved. Animal Aid also produces a range of free resources that empower people to ensure that they are supporting only humane organisations.

Animal Aid is the UK's largest animal rights group and one of the longest established in the world, having been founded in 1977. It campaigns peacefully against all forms of animal abuse and promotes cruelty-free living. For more information, please visit: www.animalaid.org.uk
