We also present Nightmare mode, the ultimate challenge fit for the highest level players. To aid you in the upcoming challenges we have added hero power boosts to the remaining roster of heroes allowing them to reach their ultimate potential.

In the frozen north, against all odds, grows a massive tree known as the World Tree. It is a bringer of life and good, but the Shade Lords are looking to use it to spread corruption. Assemble your heroes to defend the precious World Tree in the year’s final event: The Wrath of Winter. It is not all grim though, x-mas cosmetics have found their way into the game, as well as new campaign levels, heroes, spells and gear!

Welcome to update 1.14, brave adventures! We hope that you all brought your invitations to the Prince's Tournament? With this update we will bring you some sweet new events, unique skins for your heroes to show off and some quality of life improvements like the Hero Unlock Boost - and of course a new campaign area to discover! After fighting the cultists in the Darkfire Citadel the Darkfire Heroes discovered an ancient portal to the Dimension of Dread. Here they need to take on dreadful minions as they fight their way back to the free lands.

It's time for things that go bump in the night as we head into the Halloween month! The "Creatures of the Dark" event will play out over two weekends in October, and the month will also feature several new mini events! In the campaign, explore the horros of the Darkfire Citadal. Make sure you also check out the new multi-salvage feature, share loadouts and replays in the clans, and challenge clanmates to friendly battles!

The Darkfire cult has joined the war! Long existing only in the shadows, the evil cult has been growing its strength and building a secret army. Now they emerge, their troops fighting everything in their path and taking control of the free cities. Face them in The City of the Cult - the new campaign area. Furthermore, try out our very first take on two new features "auto-equip gear" and "loadout storage" - we hope this will make life easier when you switch between battle strategies. Finally, the countdown for the next live event has started, so be ready to defend the city of Southmarsh and be greatly rewarded with new heroes, spells, gear and much more later in this update!

The wait is over! A lot of work has gone into this update, most of it behind-the-scenes to support the game's continued growth. However, we've been listening to your feedback, and we made sure to include a few new additions, based on things you've asked for – like for example changing the Legendary Chest to have a guaranteed epic gear! Additionally, a number of balance changes have been made, so be sure to check those out when building your teams.
