We’ve got a brand new Daylytes experience we’re excited to share...

Over the last few months, we’ve heard your requests to expand beyond Boise, and also to make it easier to see the content you want.

We now allow you to tell us any sports topic (at any level in any geography) that you want to follow, and then we gather any news, highlights or interviews from around the web on those topics. These are delivered daily in a morning update that you receive as an automated email and can view in the app.

If you still want to follow a Treasure Valley school or your favorite alumni, don’t worry, the new version will still allow you to do that. Just add them to your new Daylytes interests list, and you’ll get any news about them that comes up in your morning Daylytes.

Bug fixes, general improvements.

A new notification center lets you know when somebody likes your posts, mentions you, follows you, etc. You'll also be notified if your post makes it to Top Daylytes!

Excited to bring a huge update just in time for your Thanksgiving gathering...you'll be thankful for this easy convo starter that the kids' table and adults' table can both appreciate. Bringing people together, it's what we do.

- Videos used to take a few seconds to load...which is like the DMV in app-speak. Now they autoplay super speedy and are viewable in a full screen scroll (a tiktokish-interface...the kids' table can explain that one to the adults' table).
- Brand new "News" tab aggregates the day's Statesman, Idaho Press, KTVB, and IdahoSports.com links in one place...sip your Dutch and start that morning sports page scroll here. Adding this 5th tab means the Post tab takes center stage...submit something you snap at your next event.
- Home tab is much clearer and makes use of horizontal scrolling. It begins with rows of Threads you're Following...then follows with rows of Threads that have the best content of the day (based on popular posts, and Threads curated by Daylytes that we notice are popping off). Go find Threads to follow in the Discover tab.
- User profile pages have a simpler grid look that makes viewing posts much easier.
- Thread pages also have a new grid view which makes is simpler and quicker to scroll back in the past and relive your fave Daylytes.
- Great new Thread additions...tag your post "Final Score" if you grab a pic of the scoreboard or catch a video of the last possession...the Greater Treasure Valley will all enjoy a simple place to scan those scores.
- Wrestling and B-Ball threads are fired up and have over 30 preseason interviews with Head Coaches.

Totally revamped interface to show more threads on the home screen, with a more immersive thread consumption experience, including auto-playing video.
A new "News" tab that aggregates the sports-related news from the major Treasure Valley news publications.

Other users' bios are now viewable in the app.
Editing your profile and bio is now easier and smoother.

You can now add a profile image, bio, and display name to your profile!
The design of forms throughout the app have improved.

Also, opening the app no longer prompts you to create a new username if you already have one.
