Debit & Credit Description
If you are looking for a personal finance app that is convenient, easy to use and at the same time has enough features, then Debit & Credit is the right app for you.

• All accounts in one app
Keeping financial records was always a bit of a hassle. But now you can actually enjoy it. See all your accounts in one place and manage your everyday finances.

• Super fast
Creating a new transaction now takes a matter of seconds. The app was designed with simplicity and convenience in mind. It will never require you to make dozens of unnecessary steps to accomplish simple tasks.

• Companion iOS & Apple Watch app
Debit & Credit has its own app for iPhone and iPad, which you can use to add transactions on the go. It is super convenient and keeps data in sync via iCloud.

• Importing data
We know how important it is to be able to import transactions from your financial institutions. That's why we support CSV, QIF, QMTF, OFX and QFX files. And you can also choose which particular transactions to import from a file, something that not all financial apps know how to do.

• Budgets & Scheduled Transactions
Do you want to budget expenses on a particular category? No problems. Do you plan to make a transaction in the future and want to be reminded about it? Consider it done.

• Financial Plans
Plan ahead by creating a financial plan for the next year. Compare your performance against it and see your future net wealth.

• Reports
We believe in clean, crisp reports that are easy to read and understand. See where and what do you spend your money on. Other types of reports are available too.

• Shared Accounts
Do you want to share some of your accounts with someone else? No problems, you can share selected accounts via iCloud while keeping other accounts private. Great for managing family finances!

• Bank reconciliation mode
Sometimes we all need extra help to keep our accounts in shape. You can easily reconcile your accounts with bank statements in the app to eliminate any disparities.

• Transaction Attachments
There might be a number of a reasons why you might want to attach files to transactions. You can attach as many files as needed and they will be synced with iCloud. You can even use Continuity Camera to scan documents or take photos with your iPhone and receive them in the Mac app.

• Powerful features
Split categories, Touch ID support, pending transactions, transaction export, transaction tags, printing reports and saving them as PDF files - all those and many other features are at your disposal when you need them.

• iCloud sync
We will never ask you to create an account or provide any personal details. All data is stored in iCloud, it is not available to anyone except you.

Some features are limited to premium version subscribers. Premium version is an annual subscription. Our privacy policy, as well as subscription terms are available at https://debitandcredit.app/privacy-policy-with-terms.html.

4.0.2 2020-02-24
Small bug fixes and improvements related to financial plans.
4.0.1 2020-02-20
Financial Plans
A completely new section of the app that allows you to create a financial plan for the next 12 months and then compare your financial performance against it. A great tool to see your future net wealth and make decisions about your financial future. To use financial plans you need to need a Mac with macOS 10.15.

Tax Related Improvements to Reports
Now you can export report data with transactions into a single CSV file or to Numbers app. This is great if you need to prepare a categories report with transactions for your tax accountant. At this moment the following reports support this feature: "What do I spend my money on?", "Where do I spend my money?" and "What are sources of my income?"

In this update:
• accounts that have "Exclude from net wealth" option enabled are no longer included into financial plans

Shared Scheduled Transactions

Now in addition to accounts and budgets you can also share scheduled transactions with other iCloud users (e.g. members of your family). This option has to be enabled in the app preferences after sharing accounts. Please note that other users will have only "read-only" access to your scheduled transactions. Shared scheduled transactions are displayed in a separate section in “Scheduled”.
Important compatibility notice: should you decide to share your scheduled transactions, please make sure that you installed version 3.2 on all of your devices.

Share Extension
Now you can share a PDF or an image from any other app to quickly create a new transaction with that file in Debit & Credit. Just right click a file in any other app and select "Share" in the menu (you might need to activate "Debit & Credit" there). This is very useful if you often create new transactions with invoices or receipts that you get via email. Moreover, the app will analyze the file you share with it and it will try to suggest the relevant payee, category and account when possible. With time as the app learns it might be able to extract amounts from invoices as well making adding a new transaction a one click experience.

Unlock With Apple Watch
If you use PIN code protection in the app, you will be able to unlock the app with your Apple Watch (watchOS 6 and macOS Catalina required).

Interactive Reports
Now you can click and drag on a report graph to see its details, just like in the iOS version of the app.

New Date Periods for the Wealth Forecast Report
Now you can select from next 3, 5 or 10 years when forecasting your net wealth or account balance.

Improved Handling of Multiple Timezones
Previously the app could separately display transactions made on the same day in different timezones. Now it should handle them correctly.
