What's new in 2.1
NEW
- Card lists now show section headings with the number of cards under each (Search, Add Cards, your collections), every card list can sort Ascending or Descending, and sorting by Name understands accents and a leading "The", "A" or "An".
- Choose a Companion for your Commander deck. It sits with your commanders, outside the 100, and counts for price and your buy list.
- Partner commanders: every partner type works. A deck shows its active pair as one linked card, and a new Commanders tab lets you choose the pair and see every legal one.
- One ownership badge on a deck: tap it to switch between any printing and the exact printing.
- Tokens Needed is now a tab on the deck, like Attractions and Stickers.
- Pick a thumbnail for a deck or a collection and it stays; "Reset Thumbnail" returns it to automatic.
- Tap "N cards not in the card database" on a collection to see those cards and fix them.
- Quick add in a deck's Add Cards uses a printing already in the deck, then one in your open collection, then the newest printing.
- The card-detail footer shows how many copies each list holds, for example "Main (2)".
FIXED
- A deck that crashed when opened now opens, with every copy kept.
- Adding and then removing a different printing of a card in a deck's Add Cards no longer swaps the printing your deck already had. If a card in one of your decks changed printing this way in 2.0, please check that card's printing.
- Decks and collections saved with Windows line endings now open complete.
- Copies you own always show, including foil copies recorded on a printing that has no foil. Where the right finish is clear, the app offers to fix it.
- Remove from Maybeboard works from any printing of a card.
- Add Cards no longer offers tokens and emblems as cards to add, and the Dungeon picker lists the dungeons again.
- A deck's total and its breakdowns now agree, and copies the card database does not know are shown instead of hidden.
- Deck notes keep their blank lines.
- The copyright line on card detail is no longer cut off at large text sizes.
- Import from Text no longer ticks more than two commanders for you, and VoiceOver now says whether the Game Changer check passes.
- Tergrid, God of Fright counts as a Game Changer in the earlier bracket checkpoints.
- The "Not in the Card Database" screen uses clearer wording.
COMING NEXT, AND WHAT WE KNOW IS NOT DONE YET
- Content-warning cards shown redacted instead of hidden in your stored lists.
- A Maybeboard you can view as a list.
- Fix or remove copies shown as "Recorded, not counted".
- Text and file exports leave out lines the card database does not know.
- VoiceOver does not announce the current sort on some menus.
- Some etched copies brought over from Decked Builder Classic show as Nonfoil.
- The Quick Look preview of a collection file shows 0 cards.
- You can't pan around a card in full image view.
- In the Americas, the price "Updated" date can show the day before.
