This unique widget shows the difference between western (Babylonian) and eastern (Hindu) main astrological parameters. Tropical vs. sidereal zodiac sign, Lunar day vs. Tithi and Moon mansion vs. Nakshatra. Many applications confuse users by providing them wrong information, combining Lunar Days descriptions with Tithi calculations. Don’t be misled. Page 4. Lunation cycle.
Change the date, explore how the illumination of the moon changes over time. Tapping on the page opens a screen with a moon phase table where you can add events to the calendar. Requires "Moon Tables" extension, but the corresponding widget is 100% free.
Page 5. Brief description of the moon day.
The number of the moon day, a brief description and, most importantly, an indicator of the progress of the moon day. Tapping opens a full description of the moon day.
Page 6. Moon day and planetary hour.
The number of the moon day and the patron symbol of the current planetary hour with progress indicators. An indispensable tool for professional planning. Requires "Planetary Hours" extension.
Page 7. "Western" and "Eastern" astrology systems.
The page displays the lunar day, tropical sign, and lunar station in the western system, as well as the tithi, sidereal sign, and nakshatra used in Jyotish, Indian astrology. This unique page gives a complete picture of the difference between the Western and Eastern systems.
Page 8. Sun/Moon altitude diagram with blue and golden hour markers.
Requires the "Twilight" extension. Tapping on the page opens a screen with detailed information about twilight and golden/blue hour.
Page 9. Mini phase calendar.
Convenient information for the month right on the main screen. When tapped, a large moon phases calendar opens.
