About Design and Technology
The Design and Technology application provides students with a new way to learn, work and prepare for tests and exams in many areas of Design and Technology. Study on the bus, in your home or in school without the need to carry your books. You can even listen to your music at the same time.
If you are in KS3, currently working on your GCSE coursework or an A Level student this application will provide you with key information in the palm of your hand. The application includes information on materials, processing techniques, industrial processes, health and safety, legislation, electronics, production techniques, electronic components, circuits, structures, tools & equipment, mechanisms, packaging, drawing techniques and many more topics relevant in all of these subject areas.
If you are struggling with Non-Examined Assessment (NEA) then the coursework guidance provides details and hints of what you could include in your own work combined with examples of students work to give you ideas. Follow the layout, structure and guidance to ensure your coursework is concise and includes all the relevant information to be successful at GCSE level.
The application includes many revision quizzes with over 300 multiple choice questions to help you prepare for your exams or class tests. Test your circuit knowledge, component knowledge, circuit symbols, ohms law, materials, industrial production and potential divider to name just a few.

The application is now universal to give iPad owners a much better user experience. The app uses a split view for easy navigation and viewing of all content.

Update to iOS 4 for multitasking so the page you are reading does not reset to the home screen.
Bug occurred in the last version when the switches pages could not be viewed, this has now been fixed.
New graphics on loading screen.
There are no major updates in this version but a lot more content is due in the coming months in time for any exams which may arise in January next year. The next update will be a biggie.
