About Diving
The program is made to score the diving competition.
The program is used to:
- calculate the total score of several competitions, save them and divide into groups;
- create any amount of divers, dives and judges, name them, amend, change the order or delete;
- enter judges scores, save and change them;
- get immediately the total score of a dive and see the distribution of places after performed dives;
With the help of this program coaches, parents and spectators have opportunity to enter judges' scores, see intermediate total of dives (preliminary place distribution of performed dives and in iPad version, additionally, distribution of a performing dive) and total score of the competition.
The reason to create this program was that not every competition, especially local, have a scoreboard and often spectators get to know the score only at the end of the competition.
Generally the program is made for divers' fans and supporters as they have to make notes on a piece of paper to check the total score. This program solves the problem, especially comfortable is multi-touch.
But coaches can also use this program when they hold competitions without special devices except paper records and calculator. One shouldn't waste time for calculating, the program itself drops the highest and lowest score and gives the total score.
When using iPhone version better turn off phone function during competition (turn on flight mode) or incoming call won't let to enter scores.

Reports are customized.
Once a report is created , you can send it by e-mail. You can also combine reports in one Excel file, reports will be in different sheets.
If you need any other reports, send a sample on vav1802@me.com and it will appear in future versions. Access to reports through the button 'i' on the right of the competition or in the wizard competition when the competition has the status of 'Finished'.

In the Main window is new button 'Insert data about divers and their dives from the clipboard': Coaches can send you the details in clear text about the divers and their dives for the competition (for example via e-mail). You need to copy them to the clipboard and paste into the program. You can combine data from different coaches in any text file, copy it and immediately inserted into the program.
The program does not check whether there is such a diver already in the list or not, it simply re-add it, so be careful.
The main thing is to follow a particular text data format described below, otherwise the program will not be able to insert data. You will receive the error window, and prompt.

Now, let us explain:
The second line is 'John Smith': contains the name of the athlete, which will be added to the divers list.
The third line of '1 m 101C; 1m 201C; 1m 301B; 1m 401C; 1m 103C; 3m 302C' contains his dives.
Jumps are separated by ';' from one another . Also, the separator can be ':' character, or just a space, for example '101C 1m 201C 301C '.
The height of the springboard or tower can be specified before the name of the dive. If the height is not specified, it is taken from a nearby dive. That is, the first four dives for Jacob Williams will be from a height of 1 meter, and the last two - from a height of 3 meters.
If everyone dive in a row does not have height, it is taken from the very first line. That is, first five dives of Michael Brown will be from a height of 5 meters, and the last with 7.5 meters. If the first line '5 m' is completely absent, it defaults takes the height of 1 meter.

• Significantly improved interface for the competition. Window "Main", appeared in the competition. Now it is convenient to edit divers, dives and judges. Wizard competition is in the «Main» window. You can select Start, Continue, and Finish the event, and the program will automatically go to the next diver and the next jump. You only need to click "Next" after entering scores. The wizard competition changes the status of the competition (not yet started, continuing, may be finished, finished), which can be edited in the settings.
• !!! Now the competition fans can watch progress in Twitter!!! You can enable Twitter-broadcast for a competition. After each dive by pressing the 'Next' you sent tweet with information about the dive, subtotals and the final scores in real time.

In previous version the newly installed the program could not create any competition. This error is partially corrected: now you can create a competition, but program can close. Please restart with your competition will have already saved. Fix it soon.
