Play the classic board game with a lovely school girl, use colored pencils to draw gomoku in papers. It’s not about win or lose, it’s about not getting busted by the teachers while you are playing. Master the art of being both a cool guy among the class, and a good student among the teachers. Collect the letters and pictures from the fellow girl and create colorful memories of an unforgetable school life!

Gomoku, or also called Gobang or Five in a Row is a classic board game, usually played with black and white round stones on a Go board(19x19intersections), players alternate in placing a stone of their color on an empty intersection, the winner is the first player to get an unbroken row of five stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. However students play it in another way, to draw O and X with color pencils on draft papers, which is a world Doodle Gomoku brings you: colorful doodle symbols on a notebook page. And instead of playing with just an AI who does nothing but beat you in the game, you play this game with a lovely girl, who refuses to listen to the boring lessons and chooses to play doodle gomoku with you, and take risks of being caught by the teacher with you together. The girl is not your opponent, but your loyal friend, and the main goal of the game is not to beat her in the game, but to increase affinity with her. So although Doodle Gomoku is still a board game in general, it offers much richer game experience than normal board games, including some common role-playing and action game elements.

Doodle Gomoku is for children, sure, it has colorful interface and lovely characters, but it is also for adults, makes them remember this old game, together with all the stupid games and stupid things they played and did in their youth, and the game tries to create such a memory once again, with the school bells, the pencil drawing sound, school girl, sad face teachers, etc. Just like the gomoku girl said in one of her letters:
'I believe that, somewhere in our memory, there will always be a place, there will be a desk, a notebook, a few colored pencils. And when we are tired, from all the work, we can go there, open the notebook, fill the notebook with colorful Os and Xs, and forget all the unhappy things.'
And this is our little but sincere wish when we made the game.
