We are excited to announce the latest Drive Smarter® iOS release, which provides an all-new user experience for users with Apple CarPlay-enabled vehicles. Here are the key updates:
• Driving Alerts on CarPlay: Trip planning, turn-by-turn directions, and shared radar, laser, and community alerts are now conveniently accessible right on the vehicle’s screen via CarPlay.
• Synced Alerts: View your navigation route on your vehicle’s infotainment display via CarPlay as well as see upcoming turns on your Drive Smarter-compatible dash cam screen right in your line of sight.
• Engage with the Drive Smarter Community: Receive, verify, and share community alerts so you can make driving safer for community members around you.
• Improved Maps Navigation: Maps has been updated with enhanced navigation features, including real-time traffic and radar updates, lane guidance, and improved search functionality for nearby points of interest.
• Voice Search and Audio Alerts: We have expanded CarPlay compatibility with audio to interact seamlessly while driving.
