Electronics Reference Description
Electronics Component Reference is a beautifully crafted reference app for anyone who works with electronic components - from hobbyists building their first circuit to engineers at the bench.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• Resistors - Interactive color band calculator with common values and a visual guide to reading 4, 5, and 6-band resistors.

• Capacitors - Decode ceramic capacitor markings, explore types, and look up values instantly.

• Semiconductors - Reference cards for popular transistors and diodes, with a guide to PN junctions, BJTs, MOSFETs, and more.

• Integrated Circuits - Browse a library of common ICs and the complete 74-series logic family, with pinouts and a family comparison guide (HC, LS, AC, LVC).

• Microcontrollers - Specs and details for popular chips across ARM, AVR, and Xtensa architectures.

• Boards - Pinout diagrams and GPIO references for Raspberry Pi 5 & 4, Pico, Arduino Uno & Nano, and ESP32.

• Identify - Point your camera at a component and use OCR to identify ICs, capacitors, and microcontrollers from their markings.

What's New

Component Substitutes Transistor and diode detail pages now show related parts — equivalents, complements, and
same-family alternatives — so you can find a substitute when a specific part isn't available.

Capacitor Reference Overhaul The capacitor table now shows pF, nF, and µF side by side in every row, making it
easy to compare values across units at a glance. Coverage extended to include the full E12 series and large values
up to 1000 µF.

New IC Entries Memory and Microcontroller IC categories are now populated. New entries include AT28C256 (parallel
EEPROM), 24LC256 (I²C EEPROM), ATmega328P (Arduino Uno), and ATtiny85.

RP2040 & ESP32 Pinouts Both chips now have full GPIO reference tables with alternate function annotations (SPI,
I²C, UART, PWM, ADC, DAC). They no longer show a misleading DIP chip diagram — QFN chips display a scrollable pin
list instead.

Data Corrections 1N5408 and 1N5822 package corrected to DO-27 (not DO-41). IGBT detail now correctly shows
VCE(sat) instead of hFE.

Bug Fix The Identify screen no longer briefly shows "No results" before analysis has completed.
