This version is jampacked with features and fixes that we’re really excited to share!
First, layer locking is here! Now it’s easy to pin a layer to a clip so they always move together.
Second, you can now replace every layer's footage without losing the edits you’ve already made. Simply select your clip or layer, tap Replace, then choose a new file and you’re good to go.
And here’s the list of bugs we’ve squashed this time around:
- Adding Keyframes after Transitions shouldn't render black frames anymore.
- Freeze Frame color is now accurate – not too bright, not too dark.
- Text issues in iOS14 are resolved.
- Transitions are back to looking spot on, including Zoom and Fractal.

What does Drag & Drop 2.0 mean? It means you can freely drag clips to turn them into layers and vice versa. And not only that, now you can also delete clips & layers straight from the timeline! How great is that? Pretty darn great. More stuff in this update:
- Added 3 new Text Effects: Gold, Glitter and Water.
- We've enabled animation presets for all features. Fade in your Filters and Lens Flares with style!

What does Drag & Drop 2.0 mean? It means you can freely drag clips to turn them into layers and vice versa. And not only that, now you can also delete clips & layers straight from the timeline! How great is that? Pretty darn great. More stuff in this update:
- Added 3 new Text Effects: Gold, Glitter and Water.
- We've enabled animation presets for all features. Fade in your Filters and Lens Flares with style!
- Redesigned the Export screen to allow for more sharing options.
- Localized all Filters and Text Effects names.
- Squashed some more bugs and improved performance further.

Good news for our Japanese speakers! We've added brand new Japanese fonts for you. Check them out in the Text feature and tell us what you think.
Now for everyone: you can search Getty assets in any language, not only English. Find stock videos more easily.

- We added Voiceover. This was the #1 user requested feature and we worked hard to bring it to you. Now you can narrate videos right in Videoleap!
- We've added Cut Frame. This means you can freeze any frame in your videos!
