The park's trains are now on the map.
Watch the EP-Express move along its raised track in real time. Tap a station to see when the next trains arrive, how long the ride takes to every other stop and round the full loop, and roughly what time you would arrive if you catch the next one.
The Panorama Train and the Monorail are on the map too, each in its own colour. Tap one of their stations for the typical travel time to every stop, including a full loop. These trains only run one way, so the times follow the order you actually ride in.
In the park, the AR view now labels the trains and stations as well, and every ride's details show a small map with a Navigate button and the walking time. While you follow a walking route, the map moves with you and turns with your heading. The map also gains a satellite view, with the less-used tools tucked into a menu.
Showtimes can now be filtered by park: Europa-Park, Rulantica or the hotels, with Europa-Park's shows as the default. When you're in the park with location on, "Near me" lists the shows within a kilometre, nearest first, with the distance to each.
Also improved: after closing time the list tells you the park is closed and when to check back instead of looking empty, ride information now stays in your language after you restart the app, and the calendar's day card no longer changes size when you select today.

EPbuddy now speaks Dutch, and picks your language for you.
Dutch joins English, German and French, and on first launch the app follows your device's language instead of always starting in English. You can still change it any time in Settings, where the language picker is now a single row instead of a wall of buttons.
Also fixed: rides closed because of weather or frost were showing an unknown status. They now have their own label and icon, and sit above fully closed rides in the list, since a weather closure often reopens the same day.

A new look, a rebuilt opening hours calendar, and a reworked Showtimes tab — plus a round of fixes based on bug reports.
The light theme has been redesigned around the deep navy of the EPbuddy icon, so the app feels at home in the park from first ride to last. Dark mode is untouched, and the theme can be switched anytime in Settings. Navigation and toolbar controls throughout the app now use Liquid Glass.
The opening hours calendar is completely new. Every day shows its full opening and closing time, hotel guest early access hours are no longer cut off, and tapping a day spells out both windows with room to breathe. The calendar now shows a loading indicator instead of briefly reporting the park as closed while it fetches.
The Showtimes tab has been rebuilt from the ground up. Swipe between Today and Tomorrow, tap a show to unfold every performance time, and use the location button to jump straight to the venue on the map. A search bubble now sits next to the day switch — tap it anytime to find a show instantly, with smoother open and close animations. The keyboard tucks away with a tap outside the field, and switching into Showtimes from elsewhere in the app now animates like every other tab.
Wait times on the Europa-Park map now update live every 30 seconds instead of freezing at whatever they were when the map opened, and jumping to a specific ride or show now works reliably on the first try.
Also improved: ride sensation bars are colour-coded by intensity with a corrected scale, Virtual Line tickets show the correct status colour again, and open ride detail sheets stay in sync as new wait times arrive.
Thanks for reporting bugs — many of the fixes above came directly from that feedback.
This version requires iOS 18.6 or later. Support for iOS 17 has been dropped.
