About Eric's New York - Travel Guide
Let Eric be your personal travel guide to New York! Discover all the highlights of the city offline with tips, walking tours, metro maps and ticket discounts!
What is in the app?
An offline map of New York.
This map highlights all kinds of points in the city. From shopping to sports and from theatres to museums. Here you will find my favourite places, famous attractions, good restaurants, where to find toilets and much more. By clicking on the location you can see exactly where the location is, which metro line can get you there, and you can read more information about the place.
An offline subway map.
By using the subway map you know exactly which subway station is close to you and which line you can use to get to your destination.
Buy tickets for New York's attractions and more.
This way, you can easily purchase your discount passes, tickets for Top of the Rock, or book your American Museum of Natural History entrance.
Because the maps can be used offline, you can always see where you are in the city. You won’t need an internet connection to navigate through the Big Apple and are always able to see what you can see and do in the area you are in.
You can collect your favourite places by giving them a star. Now you can create your own map of New York with all your favourites. You can also add your own places to visit! Plan your trip and add your bucket list items to the map so you will see exactly where you need to go in the city.

BREAKING NEWS: As of May 12th 2023, proof of COVID-19 vaccination will no longer be required for flying to New York / United States!
Finally, after 3 years, we will leave all the COVID rules behind us and welcome everyone back. I have updated the app to remove any requirements from the checklist.

I'm excited to introduce a new update to my app, which includes several enhancements and fixes to better your user experience. What's new:
- Implemented a new section "Only this week" in the menu, where you can find discounts for that week.
- Fixed the issue with "My trip" not showing on the map. Now you can easily visualize your planned itinerary and make sure you don't miss any spots.
- Fixed the bug in the "Planner", which led to the menu instead of the "My Trip" list.
- Made the walking routes with points of interest fixed and not selectable, allowing you to easily explore and discover new places on foot.
- Added a new button "View all" for a new section, making it easier to access and browse through a comprehensive list of activities, events, and attractions.
- Excluded walking routes points of interest from the category "all" to provide a more streamlined and relevant user experience.
