ETA - GPS & maps driving times Description
** ETA supports the latest iOS and watchOS features including informative iOS Home Screen widgets and powerful complications for your Apple Watch watch face. With ETA you'll always know how long it'll take to get to your destination. **

ETA instantly shows travel time (including support for driving, public transit*, cycling* and walking) to your favourite places. When driving, ETA also supplies traffic information that details any delays on your route.

## The only app that provides driving times and traffic information on your iPhone Home Screen ##
Our thoughtfully designed iOS Home Screen widgets will keep you informed of the travel and traffic situation without you needing to open the app. The calendar widget automatically retrieves your appointments so you know when best to leave to arrive on time. In line with Apple's guidelines our Home Screen widgets update at regular intervals during the day.

## The only app that shows driving time on your watch face ##
You can rely on ETA to show you travel time on the watch face of your Apple Watch. Whether you travel by car, bike, public transit or foot, ETA will update in the background and show you an updated travel time as you move. ETA adheres to Apple's guidelines and updates at minimum every 15 minutes ensuring your watch face displays current travel time and traffic conditions.

## The only app that gives you travel time to meetings and appointments in one place ##
ETA's 'set and forget' calendar functionality is a must have to keep you on time for your appointments and meetings. Once setup, ETA automatically monitors your calendar (securely and privately on your device) and displays travel time and traffic conditions for your upcoming events. This is available across our apps on iOS and Apple Watch, on your Apple Watch watch face as well in widgets on your iPhone Home Screen and Today View.

## Five star support
ETA is backed by our great support to help you get the most from the app. Browse our knowledgeable or reach out to one of our friendly support members. We're here for you whether you have a simple question or need a helping hand getting the best from a feature.

Hi all,

Great news! We're pleased to present a new update that includes support for the new Apple Watch Series 4. Our watch app has been upgraded to take advantage of the larger screen on your snazzy new devices. You can of course add the ETA complication to the awesome Infograph and Infograph Modular faces. We take advantage of the added real estate to plot traffic on route. Witness a trend line detailing whether extra traffic is light, medium or heavy.

We've also crushed some bugs. If you were one of the unlucky ones to experience long loads when you were indoors say, in a big building then we've got you. Update now and you'll find ETA greatly improved.

Thanks all and happy holidays. Send through feedback, bugs and Christmas wishes to hello@whatsmyeta.co
2.4.7 2018-09-15
Welcome to a new update to ETA. In this release, we're excited to unveil powerful functionality that takes advantage of iOS 12 and watchOS 5, allowing you to use Siri to access a host of ETA features.

On iOS 12 you can now ask Siri to add locations, calculate and display travel time and/or initiate turn-by-turn directions without having to head to the ETA app.

On watchOS 5, ETA has made its way to the Siri watch face showing travel time to favourite locations. At the appropriate time travel to calendar appointments is also displayed (requires an additional purchase of the Calendar Sync IAP).

We hope you enjoy the update. If you have any questions or feedback, please drop us a note at hello@whatsmyeta.com

==

Please note: for optimal performance on the Apple Watch ensure that permission settings for ETA allow Location Access as 'Always' and that 'Push Notifications' are enabled.

2.4.3 2017-10-06
This update fixes the following issues that affected some users:
- Complication on Apple Watch showing incorrect time or simply 0 minutes.
- Detail on a location not presented when tapping on a location on the iPhone app.
2.4.2 2017-09-29
A small update to fix a couple of bugs that popped up in the last release.
2.4.1 2017-09-23
This update brings iOS 11 and watchOS 4 compatibility and significant updates to Calendar Sync.

Calendar Sync has been extended to include the following functionality:
- select the calendars for which to display events
- customise the time window used to display future events
- choose the number of events to display in the app
- add a buffer to departure time to add an allowance for parking
- general improvements with dealing with all day events
2.4.0 2017-08-30
With this version we’re excited to launch calendar sync. This feature, one of the most requested, conveniently displays travel time to your next calendar appointment across all ETA apps. We’ve been working on it for a while and excited to get it into your hands. Please let us know what you think!

With calendar sync:
- Your next calendar location is displayed on you iPhone and Apple Watch
- View travel time to your calendar appointments on your watch face with an updated Apple Watch complication.
- A new ‘calendar’ widget is available for Today View showing your next 3 appointments
- There's no need to enter a valid address. ETA uses its powerful search engine to uncover an address for entered locations.
- Added to this our fancy ‘Smart Find’ feature links calendar locations to existing locations present in ETA. If a ‘work’ location exists in ETA, then location mapping is instant should a ‘work’ appointment appear in your calendar.

Please note that this new feature is accessible via an in-app purchase.

Alongside calendar sync we’re releasing a host of other improvements across iPhone, Today View and Apple Watch. Speed, accuracy and general performance have been improved across the board.

Finally, we’ve added a new theme as well as the ability to change the app icon available via an in-app purchase. If you previously purchased our ‘Silver Lake’ theme you’ll receive this additional functionality at no cost.

Look out for another update soon with optimisations for the upcoming iOS and watchOS releases.

Happy travels!

If you have any questions or feedback please email us at hello@whatsmyeta.co
2.3.0 2016-09-13
We’re excited to introduce ETA for iMessage. Share your arrival time to any destination from right within iMessage. Our app allows you to share from your saved location as well as search for any destination nearby. Friends can tap on your ETA to share their arrival time too!

Added to our new iMessage app are a number of improvements to ETA on Apple Watch. These include:
- New complications supporting the circular and extra large watch faces
- In the app find beautiful new location detail screen showcasing our ‘traffic thermometer’ outlining future traffic conditions.
- Scroll between location detail screens with the digital crown.
- General improvements across the complication and app (when in the dock) to increase speed of launch and data update.
- Ability to show arrival times in the app rather than just trip duration.

Our iOS app has also been updated:
- New Notification Centre widget supporting both large and small layouts
- Force touch on the ETA app icon to view small widget
- Added support for ‘Transit’ as a navigation app.
- Deeper integration with Siri. e.g. on a location detail screen ask Siri for “Direction to here” and instantly have a route plotted in Apple Maps.

That’s all for now. As always if you have any feedback email us at hello@whatsmyeta.co or Twitter @whatsmyeta. We’re continually updating ETA so your feedback helps us improve the experience for all users.

Thanks!
Anthony & Justin

2.2.0 2016-05-04
Welcome to version 2.2 of ETA. This update is heavily focused towards improving the ETA experience on Apple Watch.

# Apple Watch Complication #
If you’re using, or looking to use, ETA’s Apple Watch complication ensure you ‘Allow Notifications’ when prompted in the iPhone app. This enables ETA to update travel time data at regular intervals. In conjunction with this also ensure *Location Access* is set to ‘Always’. Don’t own an Apple Watch?Simply set *Location Access* to ‘When In Use’.

# Apple Watch Update #
We’ve rebuilt ETA for Apple Watch from the ground up with a better background update routine. We’ve been reading reviews and emails and we understand that this has been an issue for many in the past. We’re confident this new version fixes these issues!

As an added feature you can now select two locations to display on your favourite watch face. For the most part your primary location will be displayed. When you’re located at this location ETA will automatically switch to your chosen alternate.

# Widget Improvements #
Our widget for Notification Centre has been vastly improved. It’s now faster to load and also allows directions from the lock screen (obviously once you’ve unlocked with TouchID/pincode).

# iPhone app Improvements #
We’ve added support for Nokia HERE maps as an option for directions.

# Added Public Transport/Transit Support #
As Apple rolls out new cities these become available automatically in ETA. For the latest list of supported cities visit: http://www.apple.com/ios/feature-availability/#maps-transit

As always please feel free to email us at hello@whatsmyeta.co or tweet us on Twitter @whatsmyeta with any questions, feedback or issues. Also checkout our new website at whatsmyeta.co!

Until the next update, happy travels!
