About Eureka Springs - the app
Your ultimate FREE guide to anything and everything in and around the historic quirky town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. For the first time, get accurate point of interest location/info merging with GPS map tracking to create a medium that enhances your experience in the area. We’ll help you get where or what you want faster so that you can enjoy more of Eureka Springs.
POINTS OF INTEREST
We have 555+ and they’re growing constantly. Each has accurate GPS directions so you can get there. You’ll be able to see actual locations and info on the interactive map of; art galleries, ATMs, attractions, churches, chapels, cool stuff, places to eat, gas stations, historic points of interest, local services, lodging, nightlife, parking spots, public restrooms, recreation activities, places to shop, places of wellness, and of course... the historic springs! Each sector is easily filtered on/off with the FILTER tab on the map so you’re getting to see just the info you want.
THE MAIN MENU
Here’s where we condense/combine/organize the various complex areas of the town for you, the user. We’ll breakdown and connect you with; booking a room, our history, shopping local, trail systems, local news, local classifieds, fishing information, Eureka WebCams, getting married, awesome motorcycle/driving/biking course maps with GPS, police/fire/EMS feeds, city information, disabled access, our automated robo-city assistant, and even our automated calendar system.
EVENTS
We’ll lay out two ways to see upcoming events. One is our in-app EVENTS tab on the map. The second is the automated EScalendar system for your iCal app.
SEARCH
The search panel features a wide array of searchable words and phrases. Just type what you’re wanting/looking for and we’ll kick out the results. The system is robust and you can even search for specific dishes of food and see what restaurants carry them. The database is added to regularly.
LAUNCH
Each point of interest (POI) has what we call the LAUNCH page. Here’s where we’ll will tell you a little about the POI, and the hexagons will launch you to the corresponding request. We’ll include important links, images, videos, audio, etc. in the lower section. We’ll connect you with; 360 degree immersive and infomative images, phone numbers, websites, social media accounts, online shopping stores, grounds maps, guides, brochures, turn-by-turn directions, photos, their events, booking a room, buying tickets, and more.
DISABLED
We feature a disabled access section that walks you through turning on Apple device features to assist in utilizing the app more easily. We also will highlight businesses and locations that go above and beyond to accommodate the vision, movement, and hearing impaired. We’ll be making regular additions to this section too.
