EVAC CARDIFF

EVAC Cardiff is an initiative dedicated to protecting the safety of the city's citizens and its visitors in the event of a major incident in Cardiff.

Whether it's a major fire, flooding or an act of terrorism, there is a need for clear and concise information from a trusted source to keep people updated on the latest developments. Or, in the event of an evacuation, to direct people away from danger and towards safe locations.

To aid these measures, Cardiff city centre and the bay have been mapped into coloured 'Areas' and 'Sectors'. Users of the App will be messaged with details of the incident, which sector to avoid, and where to evacuate to if necessary. The EVAC Cardiff App seeks to make this information instantly available on your phone.

EVAC Cardiff has been launched to coincide with the UEFA Champions League Finals coming to Cardiff, as this is going to be an incredibly busy time with the arrival of hundreds of thousands of visitors unfamiliar with the city. Show More
