Eventsquid's new scanning app is a significant upgrade from the previous one. Here are some of the changes:
SESSION-BASED SCANNING. With the new app, you can set the scanner to a specific session so that every QR code it sees will check the scanned attendee into THAT session. Of course, scanning attendees who are not registered for that specific event will generate a warning screen.
AUTO-ADVANCE. You can set the app to return to the scan screen automatically after displaying a successful check-in (or check-out).
CONFIGURATION. Not every session, meal, activity or item needs to be scanned. In the Event Builder you can exclude any item from the app to make volunteers' jobs easier.
LIVE STATS. The app will display, in real time, the total check-ins, check-outs and redemptions.
FASTER, BETTER, EASIER. The app is a massive improvement over the previous app.
