About Explore Mars

Follow Curiosity in its journey on Mars. Launch in November 26, 2011 from Cape Canaveral, the rover landed in August 06, 2012 when it began its Mars exploration. Perfect for those who love the red planet and discover on a daily basis the scenery that Curiosity is sending back to earth. This is the third rover sent to Mars after Spirit and Opportunity.

Features:

- Choose to explore by earth date or by sol (Mars day since the rover landed).
- Pick the camera you want (front, rear, mast) for the particular day you are interested in.
- Compare sol day with the route map from Curiosity which covered already almost 11 miles (17 km).
- Zooming feature available from portrait to landscape.
- Shows automatically the latest data available on the launch screen.
