TECH NOTES
Local actions not supported:
Local actions configured in GUI Configurator will only occur if triggered from the primary touchpanel.
Font support for dynamic text:
Fonts used in GUI Configurator that are not also in iOS may look different on the iPad versus the primary touchpanel. Reference Apple’s support site for complete list of fonts in iOS (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5484)
Rebuild of Global Configurator project:
Certain changes in the system require the Global Configurator project to be rebuilt for the app to work properly. These changes include but are not limited to:
• Any connection parameter change on controller or TLP (IP/hostname, web port, telnet port, password)
• Touchpanel moved to a different port
• Touchpanel model change
• Add/remove GUI Configurator control
• ID change on a GUI Configurator control
Editing a room:
Certain changes in the system require the room to be edited for the app to work properly.
These changes include but are not limited to:
• Any connection parameter change on controller (IP/hostname, web port, telnet port, password)
• Selecting a different touchpanel configured on the controller
KNOWN ISSUES
The following is a list of known software issues found in the TouchLink for iPad Software Version 1.1.0
• Layout shifts up when iPad is rotated – the layout of the touchpanel may appear to shift up/down if the iPad is rotated after hiding/showing the navigation bar.
