Big update this time! Based on your feedback we've radically improved the Activity flow and removed the timer (most of you didn't seem to like it anyway). It's now also much easier to find out upfront how each activity contributes to the development of your child. You will also start seeing Experts in the app. They help us ensure that the activities and goals are of the highest quality. Let us know what you think at feedback@familyfive.app.

We've also added age filters on the category pages, making it easier to find relevant activities for your kids. We're now working on improving the Activity flow, showing the experts behind the science and uploading pictures of the Activities on the feed. With this update we introduce the Family Feed, a timeline of all the Family5 activities you have done with your family. It was the most sought after feature so the team worked relentlessly on getting this in. It is still the first version and we have lots of improvements planned for it.

Hey parents & caretakers, this update includes an important improvement for new users: verification via sms (in addition to email). We've also fixed some issues that were causing some verification emails ending up in the spam - mostly for hotmail and yahoo users. Inviting other members of your family or caretakers is now also easier as they can use sms verification as well. Some more good stuff coming soon!

In this update we wrap up the implementation of the Family Five child development framework. All the Family Five Activities are linked to one or more cognitive and/or non-cognitive development areas. The framework is developed by our in-house team of PhD level child development experts and has its foundation in cognitive neuroscience. Feel free to check it out and let us know what you think.

Finally we can talk with you directly! We've added chat with us on the feedback page (within Settings) so now you can post your requests for features and content directly with us.

Looks like the app crashed for some users when trying to open it from a push notification. Luckily that's fixed with this update.
In the next update you'll be able to set the push notifications in such a way that they're delivered at a day and time that works best for your personal home situation.
