We're excited to unveil our harvest for the year! It's been a long growing season and we've collected feedback from all of you throughout it - from Florida to California, corn in Iowa to canola in Canada.
We have completely re-written the application in an entirely new programming language because the last one just wasn't cutting it. For the non-tech nerds, think of it like upgrading your engine from a V4 to a V12. For the tech nerds, we switched from Ionic/Cordova to ReactNative.
What this means for you:
1) Better and quicker performance. We were also getting tired of waiting for the app to load under the hot sun.
2) More reliable GPS (especially on Apple). When you know you're in Field 4 and the application doesn't, well, that's just not ok. That's fixed now.
3) Cleaned up interface. We had some functionalities in the app that nobody was interested in. Those are gone now.
