About Find Venus - and Other Planets

Use this app to find visible planets in the night sky! It's as easy as tapping the name of the planet.

This app finds Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn -- the planets that are visible in the night sky.

(For the other less-visible planets, FindPluto is a free app that finds Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Mercury.)

This app will also tell you if the planet is above or below the horizon and by how many degrees. Tap this "horizon" text and the app will display the planet's astronomical data, such as its rise and set time.

The planets are out there for the finding, so enjoy!

Old Versions

Fixed bug when rise time or set time rounded up to 60 minutes instead of down to 59 minutes. Fixed bug that allowed text to be tapped too early (before horizon angle was updated), which would result in rise-time/set-time screen having incomplete data.
