- It was a dark and spooky update. Wind howled through the trees, rain squalled, and lightning cut through the sky.

- A storm is approaching bringing lightning, wind, and rain. The forest has never been so creepy!
- Michelle and Trevor don't seen worried. They've found their old costumes and are getting in the Halloween spirit.
- Trevor has found some mysterious rune stones, feed him some of his favourite firefly candy and he may just give you one.
- Arrange the rune stones around the incubator and watch as one of five new spooky moths are summoned!

1.57 Obon Festival Update
- This month we take our players on a journey to Japan during Obon or the Hungry Ghost Festival!
- The forest is encompassed in a warm glow as candles and lanterns flicker to life during the limited-time Obon event.
- Traditionally in Japan the Obon festival serves to honor the spirits of one's ancestors, often with offerings and lanterns.
- Inspired by this tradition, players can build and release their own lanterns throughout the event. Watch as the lanterns float into the distance, gradually fading into an ancestral spirit in the sky.
- Collect all 5 new moths from Japan and receive the exclusive Hoozuki decoration.
- A fan request arrives in Starlight: Multiple moths can now be stored or returned from the storage menu!
