FYI, frustratingly the app had to be fully redeveloped from scratch to get it working again. So good news, after several months of hard work it's back to its familiar glory with an enhanced 3D UI & other improvements just to make it even better. If we gather renewed interest in the app (so please let friends & family know about it), we'll definitely be looking into adding all new features and tweak the design even more to bring it to new levels.
Thanks again everyone & happy E-number checking.
