FotoMed provides you a customized search tool for medical information, medical images in particular, from trusted web sites. Show clinical trials search results if available.
3. FotoMed helps you to track your own pictures and medical images you find from the Web and medical reference.
4. FotoMed allows you to compare your photo with health and medical images from trusted web resources, or compare your own photos (such as skin conditions) taken at different times.
5. Within FotoMed, you can take pictures with phone camera, select photos from Photo Logger, existing Camera Roll, or get medical images from web. You can zoom in/out, rotate, pan photo/image for better viewing experience. You can tap a picture to view it with more transparency. This allows you to compare two overlapped images.

1. Critical update to keep old versions fully functional:
Migrate medical image search service from Bing Search API to Azure data service. Previous FotoMed versions will not show medical image search results after August 1st 2012 due to Microsoft no longer offer free Bing Search API. FotoMed is now based on Microsoft paid Azure data service.
2. Automatically display User Guide on first three app launch.

1. Add PhotoLogger so that all photos taken in FotoMed will be saved to, and access from PhotoLogger. (Previously, it is saved to Camera Roll.)

The version 1.0 spotlight icon with transparent background does not show properly in iTunes App Store. The fixes in version 1.01 only limit to adding color background to icons. No code change.
