Finals footy is back! And what better way than to update your app for all the latest enhancements and bug fixes

This update includes a change to your videos so your data doesn’t get smashed every time you want to watch one. We’ve also made it easier for you to get to our app from your favourite socials, in just one tap. Nooice.

We've updated our recommendation engine to help give you the best content more often. We're not sure it will be as reliable as James Tedesco on the big stage, but we think it's pretty close.

It's the release we've been excited for!

- It's here! The endless video player has arrived. Now you can scroll through videos in an easy, social-like experience which opens once you tap on any video of your choice (and in full-screen). Silkier than Kalyn Ponga in open play.

- We've updated the stories feature which now allows you to close articles, match centres and videos with the press of a single button. Navigating through content has never been easier.

- Notification updates. See a notification pop up on your screen? Great! Even better, instead of just taking you into the app, we're taking you to the specific article or match centre associated with that news, match or video highlight. Only David Klemmer runs a more direct line than our new notifications.

- Match Centres have now been updated to include match commentary and match reports. You'll also be able to retrospectively look through team lineups even after matches have been completed. Thanks for those who provided feedback on this feature. Enjoy.

- Audio bug addressed. Dislike the way that your audio would cut out when you opened the app? So did we! It's outta there. Hopefully this moves your comfort levels inside the app closer to James-Tedesco-under-the-high-ball than Ben-Hunt-under-the-high-ball.

- They're in! Extended stats added to the stats section in the app. Sort leaders by stats, teams and positions. Strong rumours this feature will be used by Origin selectors ahead of game one. And by strong, we're probably talking closer to the Blues win rate at Suncorp than we are Paul Gallen on the bench press.

- Player directory now available in the stats section of the app. Check out every active player's stats from every NRL season they've played.

- We noticed we were putting Steve Matai-like hits on users trying to stream via Apple TV whilst using the Fox League app. The sin bin kind of hit. We've done our time and resolved this issue for you. Stream away!

- No time machines needed here! Minor bug affecting the chronological display order of the matches on the Game Day page has been resolved. (Though if you've solved the riddle to time travel, we'd still like to talk to you)

- We've added video functionality to our article pages, marrying our best written content with our best videos.
