Hi friends! Many of you have told us you aren’t ALWAYS in the mood for rating, sometimes a movie just isn’t worth spending time debating whether it is a 6 or 7. We’ve also heard that sometimes a recommendation just isn’t for you, and you’ll never spend time on it. So in this version we’re launching two new options - “done” and “nope”. Mark something as “done” in one-instant click, or dismiss an item and never see it again by clicking “nope”. ENJOY!

This version has filters on lists added - it’s nice to see IMDb’s top 250 films, but now instead of scrolling through all 250, with one click you can see which of those are in your favorite genres, streaming platforms or ones you haven’t watched yet. We’ve also added a super cool tool that when you find a bug, lets you take a screenshot and with 1 click send it to us - we hope it’ll be way easier to catch those nasty little bugs that creep their way in. We’re excited to bring you two awesome changes: Firstly, we’ve been frustrated by the lack of book genres for a while now. So in true Dora the Explorer style we went out and collected genres for the thousands of reviewed books, and will ask you to help us classify them going forward . Together we will help people find the right book! Secondly, users can now do some basic things in the app without creating a profile. However, in order to rate and comment, you of course still need to have a profile - no anonymous fooling around! Enjoy the new version and please stay safe out there!

We opened the hood of our map function and decided to do a significant engine upgrade. Restaurants and bars are now neatly ranked from 1 to 20 and we’re even including your bookmarks in a nice flashy green color. Finding places to wine and dine has never been easier.
A few bugs also crawled out of hiding and we applied some serious bug repellent - if you find any more of those suckers please let us know!
