We decided to completely rewrite Frontback for the 2.5 release! We have spent the last months developing a more stable version of the app with most core features unchanged, many very good additions and changes to the UX/UI and some new features.
We are now fully compatible with iOS 7.0.
Main changes in the app include:
- The main feed can now be customized and is a combination of your own posts, your friends' posts, the world feed, staff picks, and a couple of new post selections
- Reactions can now be posted with or without a photo, and are displayed in a chat-like interface
- The general navigation in the app has slightly changed with a new style of menu
- Sharing is now done via more native implementations of the platforms, allowing better integration and easier sharing
- Sharing is also possible directly at time of posting your Frontback to Twitter, Facebook.
- Find friends/contacts is now fully working with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and your address book.
- Grid view is available in every feed
- Better search
- Better social features
- Many preparations for future versions have been done in the background, so stay tuned for new releases with great new features!
