Conquer the Monoliths - New PVE Mode
Strange and powerful Monoliths have appeared across all regions of Krystara! Each one holds a set of epic battles that, once conquered, provide stacking buffs in that region’s PVP playlists.

Monolith Enhancements
These various PVP buffs last for 1 hour and can be extended by battling in the Monolith again. Once the buff’s timer ends, adventurers will have to start at the bottom floor of the Monolith all over again.

Warbands are premade teams ready to be recruited and taken into battle. They include 3 troops, at least one of which is Epic, an Ultra-rare weapon, a Team Slot and a Banner. Gather War Coins to acquire and upgrade them.

YOUR VAULTS WILL GLIMMER WITH GOLD... AND CHAOS
Present your deeds of battle at the Temple and the spirits will reward you in kind. Shrines are a new way to earn extra resources: they will fill up with Gold or other earnings from each of your battles. Once half full, they will open up for you to purchase accumulated gold up to a maximum, plus a bonus reward.

RULES HAVE CHANGED, AS HAVE REWARDS
New drafting rules centered on troops present new challenges and make choosing the right lineup more important than ever! There may be less battles on your way to the final victory, but some of them could prove tougher. WHAT'S NEW

LEVEL UP YOUR KINGDOMS... BY THE BOOK
Six new Books of Deeds hold the secrets to unlocking the true might of your home Kingdom! Now Kingdoms can be leveled up to 20, with each level conferring a special building and corresponding perks, such as Faction Hoard Stats and Kingdom Team Bonus upgraded to Tier V. The Power level cap for Kingdoms is being raised as well, with new levels -up to 30- which will become achievable by completing Kingdom Tasks and new Kingdom Power Tasks in the months to come.

FIND THE KEYS TO EPIC LOOT
Pesky treasure gnomes are always sought after by adventurers eager to reap the bounty of their Vaults. But most elusive are those who carry an Epic Vault Key, which opens the way to untold riches... and a fierce boss fight. Besides the possibility to go into Epic Gnome Vaults, we've made a host of changes on Gnome Vaults and related Weekend Events. Track the gnomes' movements carefully; you may even come across the deadliest and trickiest of them all, one said to have vile Daemon blood coursing through its veins!

This major update to Gems of War is brimming with new content: seasonal Campaigns with epic rewards for those willing to fight until the end, a fearsome new Faction, a revamped calendar of weekly challenges and more.

WHAT’S NEW

Uncover mysteries, earn epic loot!
Campaigns are a new way to adventure and battle for rewards on top of the Weekly Events. Earn stars by taking on Bronze, Silver or Gold Tasks, and use them to earn Campaign Pass rewards and a chance to level up your Artifact each week. There is one Artifact per campaign. Besides conferring powerful stat bonuses in all game modes during the period, unlocking their power will reveal stories about the cataclysmic forces and events which shaped Krystara as we know it.

Go Big, go Elite
As an optional upgrade to your loot hunting during the Campaign season, we’re introducing the Elite Pass, which will open up a whole new track of rewards to unlock for players inclined to do so. If you want to go all the way, the Elite+ Pass tops it off with rare rewards and a weekly influx of Stars to help with your Campaign progression.

Face your Daemons
A new Faction has arrived: Illithia. The Illithians are an ancient breed of Daemon, who use their mind powers to turn their enemies against themselves. With the Underworld now blown wide open, they are preparing their first attack on the lands above. Tag alongside Gemhammer on a quest to seek out and destroy the dreaded Hive Mind commanding this Faction.

Gems for weekdays and weekends alike!
Campaigns are a great occasion to introduce more World Events, which will run throughout the weekdays. But, fear not, community-favorite Raid Boss Events are becoming weekend features alongside Invasions. Guild Wars will continue to be held every 4 weeks, on top of the other events.

Weapons to bring Kingdoms to their knees
Kingdom Weapon Packs feature 33 new weapons now offered to players who have yet to complete the Kingdom questlines. The weapons deal extra damage to enemies of the corresponding Kingdom, and Packs also include extra resources to help in completing quests. Avid collectors who have already finished their Kingdom quests can still craft Kingdom Weapons during weekly events or purchase them on Flash Offers.

Prepare yourselves for battle and level up your weapons. Are you ready to become the mightiest hero in all the land?

WHAT'S NEW

Enhanced Kingdom Power!

Venture through the lands of Krystara and rise up through the ranks! Complete 3 assigned tasks per Kingdom to earn your rank of “Kingdom Power.” You can now see your unlocked rank via a newly added indicator on the World Map.

Enriched Hero Classes!

Begin earning “Champion Levels” for your Hero! Unlock a Hero Class and begin to earn new Champion XP with every battle. Gain 1XP to your Champion Level for every Quest, Challenge, and Exploration you complete, and earn 2XP to your Champion Level for defeating foes in PVP, Arena, and Events. Hit milestone Champion Levels (ie: Level 1, 5, 10, 20, 40, 70 and 100) to begin choosing new Talents for your Hero!

New Hero Class Events!

We’ve introduced new Events that allow you to unlock the Hero Class. Class Events will run for new classes once they are released (3-day weekend events) and older existing hero classes (1-day events during the week). Defeat 5 Champions in any order and receive bonus rewards for Gold, Glory and Champion XP if all are defeated. You’ll receive free Sigils when you enter a Hero Class Event, and Valravens may drop more Sigils once you’re in battle!

Weapon Leveling!

You can now level your Weapons! The maximum level will depend on the rarity of your weapon. Common weapons can reach max Level 5, while Mythic weapons can reach max Level 10. Use new “Ingots” currency to level up. They come in 6 rarities: Common, Rare, Ultra-Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic. Weapons have also been given a type and home Kingdom.
Check out the Weapon tab in the Troop menu to begin leveling up!

CHANGES
Check out the Daily Task system (formerly console exclusive), Guild Help menu and improved Guild Roster. Perks have been replaced with Talents via new Talent Trees. The Magic scaling part of a Spell description will now appear highlighted in dark, bold purple. Pet Rescue Events now display remaining time for the event in the menu. You can also reset your account password from in-game. There is a new tutorial for Account Linking to help players protect their accounts from getting lost – collect rewards for linking your account!

BUG FIXES
Issues with connecting to chat, Burning status blocking troop stats, Doomskull explosions sometimes denying 4/5 matches are among other minor bug fixes and improvements in this release.

NEW FRIENDS NEED SAVING IN KRYSTARA!

Cats, Dragons, Goats, and… Skulls? All new pets have landed in Gems of War, and they’re in need of a hero like you! Gather your troops and rescue all the pets today in our latest update!

WHAT'S NEW
• Introducing 2 new Weekly Guild events: Raid Boss + Invasion, rotating weekly with the already available Guild Wars.
• Raid Boss – Guilds engage in a 5-stage raid using the weekly kingdom’s troops to take down an epic boss and earn equally epic rewards shared among all guild members.
• Invasion – Guilds engage in an 8-stage kingdom invasion, taking down 8 unique towers with specific troops types selected for that week.
• Also introducing 2 new Side Events: Bounty + The Vault, both accessible from the Games menu
• Bounties – Players will earn points competing in various battles to reach reward milestones.
• The Vault – Treasure Gnomes will now appear randomly during games, providing the opportunity for major rewards, or even a key to the Gnome Vault for even greater prizes.
• New shops based on Raid Boss, Invasion and Bounty modes are now available. Unique troops tied to each game mode will be made available through these shops.
• Introducing a new in-game reward called Orbs. Players will be able to acquire Rare and Greater Orbs, helping players advanced troops in various ways.
CHANGES
• Both the Troop Upgrade Menu and Hero Upgrade Menu have been reworked for a more streamlined experience and for the use of Orbs.
• UI updates have been made to various menus.
• Cards have been tweaked to convey additional troop information. Kingdom banners has also been visually improved.
• Mana Shield trait has gained Mana Drain/Steal immunity.
• 3 New troops types: Boss, Tower and Gnome – mainly used in new event system.
• Players can now play Explore/Quest battles again without going back to the World Map (must be level 20+)
BUG FIXES
• Fixed a bug where Explode spells were giving more mana than intended under certain conditions.
• Fixed an issue where Guild Guardian Names were not displaying in non-English languages
• Fixed an issue where the Troop Offer screen in Arena would cause the game to crash

GUILD WARS DEFENSE BONUSES
* We’re making a major change to the Guild Wars meta based on player feedback. Players will now receive point multipliers on offense for selecting unique troops on defense. This should introduce a lot more diversity on defense making guild wars battles more fun and interesting on offense.
NEW UI
* We gave a sneak peak of the new UI with the last update, received a lot of feedback, and are now rolling out new UI to many critical areas. Stay tuned for more changes with the next update.
* The new UI should bring many quality of life improvements (troop filters!) and help with memory issues introduced in the Unity port.
