Welcome to version 4.5 of the Gideons Bible App!

The app was fully updated to match the latest tech updates!

* Enjoy the new search functionality that allows you to search by a specific Chapter and verse!
* On the Search screen under the My Bible section, you can look for a specific chapter/verse, using the notation BookName Chapter:Verse, like: “Matthew 1:2”.
* It’s also possible to list the entire chapter by hiding the verse number on the search entry, like: “Matthew 1".

We also made several adjustments and fixes to improve your user experience inside the app:
* All third-party libraries were updated providing more stability and increasing load speed on the whole app.
* Now the plans are being synced between multiple devices, allowing your progress to be accessible everywhere from different devices.
* The search feature was enhanced to allow users to search by Chapter and Verse.
* The search results were updated to follow the Bible book order.
* The country dropdown under the My Account screen has been rebuilt to allow country search and improve the selection behavior.

What’s New in the Gideon Bible App Version 4.0

1. Download Help Section Playlists

Now, you can easily download playlists from the Help section. Simply access the list of helps and find the new download feature. You can also access this option by tapping the three dots (ellipsis) menu in the top-right corner when viewing a playlist’s details.

2. Adjustments and Fixes Throughout

* A handle has been added for Bibles that are temporarily unavailable.

* The auto-scroll setting has been fixed, which previously caused confusion when accessed through the account screen. It is now enabled only when accessed via the verse detail screen.

* An issue with the copyright screen has been resolved, preventing crashes.

* Adjustments have been made to the “No Connection” screens to align with the app’s design pattern.

* The “Plan” creation screen’s responsiveness to user inputs has been improved, eliminating layout issues.

* The “Search” screen has been enhanced to ensure it redirects to the correct selected verse.

* The light mode has been adjusted to align with the app’s design patterns, improving content clarity.

* Finnish language content has been adjusted, including book title updates, correction of misspellings, and content fixes to match the selected Bible.

* The “Rate App” popup has been updated to prevent multiple, intrusive appearances.

* The asset files to prepare for custom push notifications have been created for changes coming soon.

* Refinements to the translations in Romanian, Greek, and Russian languages have been added.

* The Reina-Valera 1960 version is now the default version when the App is switched into Spanish display language.

* Fixed a relaunch error popup that was causing the app to restart.
