Hřiště je situováno mezi dvěma nejvyššími horami Beskyd, Lysou horou a Smrkem, na úpatí hory Žár v obci Ostravice. Jedná se o mistrovské golfové hřiště, par 72 typu parkland. Snahou investora a celého mezinárodního týmu, který se na stavbě podílel, bylo postavit hřiště, které snese srovnání s moderními mistrovskými hříšti ve vyspělé golfové Evropě. Tomu odpovídá výběr lokality, tvarování hříště, kompletní závlaha hracích ploch, přísně testovaný a kontrolovaný stavební materiál, velké greeny, 3 ha vodních ploch, pět rozlehlých odpališť na každé jamce, speciální osiva atd.
