About Goodman FAD
Goodman FAD, Goodman Fatigue Analysis Diagram, is prepared for fatigue strength analysis.
Goodman FAD calculations can be carried with either “residual stress method” or “nominal mean stress method”.
Goodman Diagram constructed automatically once all parameter are entered. Intersection points are calculated and given on Goodman Diagram.
Formulas are given to clarify calculations that are carried out.

- A new tab is added for showing calculations on a formula sheet (iPhone).
- iPad interface is enriched with formula views of calculations.
- In residual stress method, user to judge whether residual stress is a part of proportional loading i.e. residual stress contribution to mean stress is not multiplied with Kf anymore. Given formula views clarify how calculations are carried out.
