About GoToTrafficSchool

Take this course to clear a traffic ticket or get an insurance discount or both! GoToTrafficSchool offers easy and user friendly traffic school courses that are and always have been the least expensive on the market and accepted by California DMV. Millions of people have taken a GoToTrafficSchool course since 1999 and described the course as simple, user-friendly, and painless. Let's face it when it comes to taking traffic school you want a solution that gets you in and out quick. You have come to the right place. No wasting your time with boring long text and jokes that are not funny--just a simple course to get this out of the way.

This online traffic school and defensive driving course is 100% in-app. Take it anywhere. Register; learn course material through text, videos, and games; test your knowledge with quizzes throughout the course; take the final exam; have your completion sent electronically and for FREE to the DMV, who will then notify your court—all completely within the app.

In the State of California, we are approved by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to offer online traffic school (License #E1990). The course may be taken to "mask", not dismiss, a single traffic violation on the driver's record once every 18 months in order to keep your insurance rates from increasing.

Pursuant to Vehicle Code section 1808.7, the following situations are not eligible for masking a traffic safety violation on a California driver record: 1. the driver has already attended a traffic violator course within 18 months from the date the citation was issued where the person was convicted; 2. the driver holds a commercial license as defined by Vehicle code section 15210; 3. the driver holds commercial driver license from out of state; 4. the violation occurred in a commercial motor vehicle as defined in Vehicle Code 15210; 5. the violator has not paid a deposit of fees or bail, and has not pleaded guilty, no contest, or been convicted by the court of jurisdiction; 6. the conviction would result in a violation point count of more than one point pursuant to vehicle code section 12810.
