LOCALIZATION: We're going global! We've translated the app into 9 additional languages: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Russian!
TWO-CHORD MEDIUM: You told us 'Medium' difficulty was too hard to complete. So we've redesigned 'Medium' difficulty to teach you the basics of two-handed gameplay. Hold down the chord buttons with your left hand and strum with your right. Master timing and coordination so you can graduate to 'Hard' difficulty.
SONG FX: We ported the iPad SFX (i.e. 'Distortion,' 'Chorus,' and more...) to iPhone 6 and 6+! Turn the knobs during gameplay to make your guitar sound awesome!
HOLIDAY CONTENT: You'll love the extra flourishes of snowy fun we've added to the app. Also, be sure to check out our holiday song section, available throughout December.

SONGBOOK PREVIEW: You asked for it. We delivered. You can now preview any song on the songbook by tapping on its album cover.
SMOOTHER GAMEPLAY: Rocking an older iPhone or perhaps an iPod Touch? You no longer need to deal with stuttering gameplay. We've made a TON of behind-the-scenes tweaks to make the app much, much smoother on older devices.
AD FIXES: You can now watch ads to earn coins. This feature was broken in the previous version and we've fixed it!
BUG FIXES: We squashed a dozen or so particularly nasty crash bugs. We are dedicated to fixing every bug but we need your help!

Introducing TONE, the latest and greatest FX Pedal for the iPad! TONE lets you adjust levels for lows, mids, and highs, giving you way more control over how your music sounds.
Since we gave you so much control with the new TONE FX Pedal, we thought… why not do that for *all* FX Pedals? iPad users will now be able to adjust the intensity of each effect. Put your own spin on every song!
Medium difficulty is back by popular demand (thanks to everyone in the community who weighed in on this!)

Hello, fellow Guitarists! We're proud to announce the ALTERNATIVE COUNTRY GUITAR, a twangy guitar that rings with a touch of distortion. Try out all of your favorite songs with this new sound!
But why stop at one major feature when we could add two? Freestyle Mode has arrived! This new mode has no notes, allowing you to make a completely unique performance of your own design. And you can use it with every song in the songbook!
The Songbook has a new section called "Suggested." All these songs are based on your past performances and are customized to help you find new songs to play that fit your style and taste.
And last but not least, the iPad players out there will want to check out the brand new Tremolo FX Pedal so you can add modulation to your songs. It's a favorite with our testers!

What's New Update Notes Writing Department here, and boy-oh-boy is today a doozy for us! We've got a lot to tell you about, so let's get on to it.
First of all, you can now choose Featured Singers to serenade you while you play. It's like hot-or-not for guitar singers! (But they're all pretty darned toasty.)
We've also gotten some Letters to the Editor that folks wanted to know how far along in the song they were, so we're debuting our Song Progress Indicator (imagine trumpets here!) Now you'll always know exactly how much song is left to play.
You'll probably also notice some sweet new animations and sound effects all over the app. They're seriously amazepants. Yeah, we just wrote amazepants with a straight face. That happened.
But wait, there's more: our devs have added search, sped up the entire app, and reduced crashes a bunch. What we're trying to say here is that literally everything is better. Literally.
And, as a bonus, we're granting 25 coins for creating an account or logging in - so really, you should go do that and get your loot. Because loot is awesome.

Bug Fixes.
We thought that was pretty dry for the only line in our update notes, so we decided we'd write something funny here as well. Unfortunately, we've been really busy with the Bug Fixin', and we're very tired, and no matter how many cups of coffee we drink we keep coming up with only "Bug Fixes" for our update notes. (It's really hard to find a funny way to tell you that we've changed the volumes so you can hear stuff better, and there's just no sexy way to say we added our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy links to our Settings screen!)
But rest assured, we Fixed Some Bugs with gusto and grace and glory, and things are even more awesome in the Guitar! app than they were before. So go on and start jamming.
