In cases where blood donation is needed, this shortage leads to patients and their family being responsible for finding donors to replace blood in the blood banks or hospitals. This can cause high-stress situations as people try to find blood donors on their own at to extent where strangers are mobilized from the streets and coffee shops without proper and necessary checkups. Hibeeye “Giver” comes from the Somali word “Hibo” which means giving unconditionally. We believe HIBEEYE can and shall help — by finding ways to more efficiently bring blood donors and people in need together.
