About iAgnihotra
Take your Agnihotra timings with you wherever you go. iAgnihotra calculates the exact time of sunrise and sunset using your built in GPS, Internet connection or an offline worldwide city listing. If you are outdoors use it in GPS mode for perfect astronomical sunrise and sunset timings. If you are online it will detect your location from your Internet connection or if you want to check the time for a friend just type the name of their location. It also has a training mode to teach you the Agnihotra mantras as well as Mahamrtyunjaya mantra which is profoundly healing to perform at any time.
Agnihotra is a profoundly healing daily practice that has been performed for thousands of years in India to purify the atmosphere. It is done at the exact transition from day to night or night to day, astronomically this is when the midpoint of the sun has reached the horizon. We've added a smart alarm feature which allows you to set an alarm a chosen amount of time before Agnihotra each day. It also offers an optional alarm at Agnihotra time that can also chant the daily mantras with you. Additionally we've added an option to view the current exact atomic time.
