IBM Cloud Event Management can receive events from supported sources, either on premise or in the cloud. Events indicate that something has happened on an application, service, or another monitored object. The mobile app synchronizes with your instance of IBM Cloud Event Management and brings the functionality to your mobile device.

With one holistic solution to ingest, correlate, notify and resolve operational incidents within minutes, DevOps and IT operations teams can optimize their efforts to resolve issues. Related events — for example, all events related to a single application, or on a particular cluster — are correlated into an incident. Instead of grappling with hundreds of different events you can focus on a single incident to restore service.

Integrated notifications are available to ensure that the right person is notified at the right time. Incident responders can easily reach the subject matter experts they need to get incidents resolved.

Be automatically notified when new incidents occur and escalate unattended incidents. Receive notifications through the communication channel of your choice, including voice, email, and SMS.
