Welcome to iEnterprise Mobile for Siebel, previously named Swift MEAP for Siebel.
The application is ideal for all users of Siebel CRM including sales, customer service technicians and professional services specialists. iEnterprise Mobile for Siebel, allows you to connect to and run your Oracle’s Siebel CRM on your iPhone or iPad giving you access to your critical CRM information even when you are outside of cellular network coverage.
Contact iEnterprises to obtain the server software so as to allow a live connection to your Siebel CRM system.
Features - iEnterprise Mobile for Siebel CRM allows you to manage all critical areas of your CRM including Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Activities, Leads, and Tickets. Data is stored locally giving you quick access to your CRM information even when you are out of cellular network coverage.
Custom fields and objects can be configured in your Siebel CRM environment. In addition, it automatically synchronizes contacts with the device native address book for easy lookup from the native email and other iPhone/iPad applications.
The administration console that is provided with iEnterprise Mobile also includes advanced features such as custom objects, pre-loading device data, centralized administration and interface mapping.
By default, the application will be running in disconnected mode so that you can see what a Siebel CRM application would look like on the iPhone or iPad. To experience the disconnected mode, please select "Use local data" after installation.
Each implementation of iEnterprise Mobile for Siebel CRM requires professional services so as to install our servers and enable connectivity to your Siebel instance.

If configured on your Swift MEAP server, the activities and task modules can display a date picker, to allow you to filter the activities or tasks for a specific day, week or month. You can easily navigate to the next day, or previous day.
In the table view, if a read only value in a column is too long, Swift MEAP displays ... to signify it is too long. You can now tap on the field, and a popup will appear to show the full value. This will only work on a text field, that is read only.
Added a new javascript option to allow you to copy values to the device clipboard, to allow them to be pasted in to another application. Please review the Javascript guide for details on the usage of this new function - https://swiftmeap.atlassian.net/wiki/x/yQBO
Added support for clicking on Phone Numbers, URLs and Email addresses in a text field. The values will be highlighted, in the same way they are in an email, and allow different actions, based on the value.
Added support for Single Sign on for Oracles CRM on Demand. If you are using Swift MEAP for connecting to CRM on Demand, you can now use your single sign on account to authenticate. Please contact iEnterprises for further details if you wish to use this. We will add support for other applications over time.

We have removed the ability to replace a module icon with a photo on the iPhone, this piece of functionality did not exist on the iPad. This does not affect any other photo upload functionality that you may have configured in your Swift MEAP client.

* Added the ability to download user record values, to the device, for use in scripting. These values are mapped in the server, and retrieved when the user logs in, or a new CAD is sent to the user. The data is stored in the CAD_USERRECORD table in the application database, and can be read using JavaScript.
* Fixed an issue where the background sync process was unable to retrieve the user credentials when a passcode is enabled, causing some users to be prompted for the password on opening the client. The client will now only sync in the background when the passcode is not enabled.

* Added a new button to the left of the search window, when tapped, a new menu slides out to display new icons. The icons are:
Search - this is the same advanced search that is can be accessed by tapping the Magnifying Glass in the list header.
Sort Order - this allows you to change the sort order of the data directly from the UI, rather than having to do it from the settings page.
Lookup - this allows you to directly access the lookup function, without searching for data first.
* Added the ability to sort data for display much more easily. Use the new menu bar to expose the sort icon. Tapping on the icon will display a dialog box that allows you to move the field that you wish to sort on, to the top of the list, then select done. The selected sort order is retained until a new CAD is received from the server.
* We are now allowing the server administrator to define multi top level filters for a module, to allow you to have 'Saved lists'. The administrator can create additional top level filters for a module, using JavaScript. The top level filters are displayed as a drop down in the client. You will need the latest server version for this feature.

To enable this functionality, you need the latest server version, and you need to set the "use.tasklist.function" system key to Yes, and send a CAD.

When the background sync is triggered, the device will sync with the Swift MEAP server, and pull changes from the server. The application icon will display a badge to show that there are new records, on opening the application, and looking at the Sync Log, the badge will disappear.
