Introducing a brand-new puzzle exploration experience! Now you can view all galleries and navigate between them much easier and much quicker! Give it a try we're confident you'll enjoy it!
New gallery sort... Completed galleries can now be sorted to appear at the bottom of the gallery menu. Now you can easily continue puzzles within galleries that you are currently working through.

New galleries... Introducing the adventurous "Camp Sights" by artist Laura Moyer and "Journeys and Destinations" by Francisco Fonseca!
iCloud sync improvements... Now full galleries and level progress is updated more frequently and more thoroughly.
Settings menu improvements... Now when accessing the settings menu while playing a level, you can adjust any and all settings with only restarting once upon closing the settings menu. Before this improvement any setting that required a level restart would initiate the restart immediately.

Hello puzzle builders! This update is chock full of improvements to make your gameplay experience even better and allow you to customize it too!
New settings quick access button... Now in the level menu you can simply open it up and quickly access the settings menu.
Here are the new settings and accessibility options you can now use to fully customize your gameplay experience...
- Control music and sound effects separately, or disable both.
- Control music progression and allow for incremental music clips to play with initial pieces, or opt to have music continuously playing.
- Change background story text color to be light or dark.
- Control background sketch brightness to make it lighter or darker.
- Control how far pieces are spaced out in the pieces tray.
- Enable or disable orientation alerts when a puzzle loads (iOS only)
- Enable or disable haptic feedback on iOS devices
Adjust the background white fade overlay so it shows through slightly. We think this helps!
Fix issue where the background story text layer was hidden when using the "merged" background mode.
New puzzle size guide... Simply tap on any of the puzzle sizes (S-XL) to reference the approximate number of pieces per size.
Fix issue in a multiplayer game when two auto-matched players are start from the same puzzle.
Fix issue in settings where the "hide all" background mode would freeze up the game.

Introducing SharePlay! Now you can assemble a puzzle together with a friend in real-time, all while chatting over FaceTime!
New Van Gogh puzzles... Introducing the "Van Gogh's Latter Years" gallery, featuring over 30 challenging puzzles, including Van Gogh's infamous "Almond Blossom" painting!
New galleries... Introducing "Precious Feathered Friends" by artist Letícia Kumiara and many delightful children's puzzles in "Wonders and Discoveries" by artist Barbara Denef!
Smaller download size... We've chopped the size of the app download in half, and puzzles are now much smaller and quicker to download!
Puzzle sizes... Now in the gallery menu, each puzzle contains a label with XS, S, M, L or XL to indicate the general size of each puzzle.

New Van Gogh puzzles... Introducing "Van Gogh in Arles" gallery, featuring 24 challenging puzzles, including some of Van Gogh's most famous works such as "Sunflowers" and "The Bedroom"!
New galleries... Introducing "Spotlight" by artist Francisco Fonseca and "Whimsical Wanderings" by artist Gaia Marfurt!
Continual music... No more looping forever :) Now, when music is fully playing, once one track finishes the music will progress on to a new track.
New settings... Now you can control the visibility of the red error overlay on incorrectly-placed pieces! Also, for newer iPhones and iPads, you can turn on shadows beneath each piece.
New Game Center leaderboards... Now you can see how you rank in daily streak and multiplayer games completed!
Continue last puzzle played... Now, you can stop playing any puzzle at any time and as long as you don't leave that puzzle, the game will open right back up to that puzzle! This works great if you get a phone call or have to stop playing, and the app fully closes down on its own.
Fixing bug that prevented progress from being synced with iCloud for puzzles within Maja Lindberg's "At the Circus" gallery.
Improved stories... We've improved a number of minor punctuation errors in a few of the puzzles, and improved visual appearance of text in the story layers.
Even more tangible pieces... We've continued to improve the responsiveness of tapping and grabbing pieces from the pieces tray. Now the surface area to grab each piece is even larger!

Hello Illustrated players! This is a big update focused on performance and accessibility. Here's what's new...
Major performance improvements... This should fix issue where some players were experiencing crashes on older iPads and Macs, and excessive battery consumption when playing for longer periods of time.
Background sketch merged option... Now if you prefer, you can merge the illustration and story mode sketch layers in the background together, showing the full sketch as a whole. You will still be able to toggle between illustration and story modes!
Piece placement highlights... For a purer, more challenging puzzle experience, you can now disable the highlights that show where the piece will be placed.
Left-handed mode... The pieces tray now can be moved to the left side of the screen when playing on iOS devices in landscape orientation. This setting can be enabled or disabled in the settings menu.
Puzzle piece responsiveness... We've improved touch responsiveness when picking up pieces from the tray or game board.
Puzzle piece sketch layer control... We call this "Sketch Mode" in Patterned, and it's now available here in Illustrated! Now you can disable the progressive sketch appearance within puzzle pieces, showing only the full-color image all the time.
Puzzle piece opacity... We've increased the minimum amount of color that is shown on puzzle pieces the puzzle starts. This will help piece visibility and detection for many puzzles that have backgrounds with only subtle differences in color and texture.
