About Indian J of Orthopaedics
The Indian Journal of Orthopaedics (IJO) (ISSN 0019-5413) is an official peer-reviewed, open access publication of the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) and is published on Bi-monthly basis in first week of January, March, May, July, September & November. The journal, first published on June 1, 1967, now reaches to over 9000 members of IOA, making it amongst the most read surgical speciality journals in India and South-East Asia.This is an online manuscript processing system which allows submission of articles with tracking of its progress till proof stage. Articles can be submitted electronically from www.journalonweb.com/ortho. There is no submission and publication fee in Indian Journal of Orthopaedics (IJO). It’s free of cost. This is a non-profit journal. One needs to register as a new author. Link for new author registration is available from the home page (www.journalonweb.com/ortho)
IJO welcomes articles that contribute to Orthopaedic knowledge from India and overseas. We publish articles dealing with clinical orthopaedics and basic research in orthopaedic surgery. Articles are accepted only for exclusive publication in the Indian Journal of Orthopaedics. Previously published articles, articles which are in peer-reviewed electronic publications in other journals, are not accepted by the Journal. Published articles and illustrations become the property of the Journal. The copyright remains with the journal. Studies must be carried out in accordance with World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki.
