- Recent story - a 2x2 widget showing you the most recent story in a chosen selection with a full-size thumbnail.

New Pro feature: Cut the noise even further with duplicate filters! Duplicates are annoying and hard to avoid when you subscribe to many feeds and they post the same content. Inoreader's server-based duplicate filtering system will take care of this. Just open a folder's or feed's properties by swiping it to the right from the sidebar. You will see the new option to activate a filter for this folder or feed. Or if you prefer you can enable this option on your whole account by swiping the All articles section to the right. You can choose to remove duplicates based on their titles and URLs. For titles you also have the option to filter out "near duplicates", which will look for very similar headlines and keep only one copy in your account. Let us know what you think of this new feature. We are at support@inoreader.com.

6.1.2 2018-06-02
6.1.2 is a bugfix release that addresses a single issue - the Sign in and Dive buttons in the main screen were not working on iPhones since 6.1.1. We apologize for this.

Previous changes:

In version 6.1.1 we have added an option to force the iPhone layout on iPads if you prefer not to have the sidebar always visible on landscape mode.
We've fixed a bug affecting the iPad where sometimes the first opened article wasn't being marked as read.
An issue with offline mode was addressed that was causing articles to become mismatched under some conditions.

Previous changes from version 6.1:
Thank you for your patience while we improve the iPad experience in 6.1! We have completely overhauled the app for iPad. There's a new split view in landscape mode allowing you to quickly browse through your subscriptions and articles. If you want a cleaner experience with less controls and menus on screen, just rotate your iPad in portrait mode and the app will work just like the regular iPhone interface.
Additionally there are some other changes in this release:
- Tags and Active Searches are now directly listed inside the Library. There's no intermediate screen between the tree pane and your favorite tags, saving you one additional tap.
- You can now swipe back from the Safari View (integrated browser). Previously it was only possible to close it from the "Close" button.
- YouTube, Vimeo and other videos are now properly stretched to the full width of the screen while maintaining their original aspect ratio.
- Tree width now respects the device screen and will stretch on larger phones, giving more screen estate for your subscriptions.
- Safari View (integrated browser) now always opens on full screen, even on landscape mode.
- Fixed an issue where you couldn't add a tag to an article by tapping on the checkbox.
- Fixed flickering of the entire screen while opening the Eye menu for the first time.
- Fixed some other minor issues from 6.0

We've added back the option to delete saved web pages and to mark articles above/below as read - those are in the left-swipe options menu. We will continue to polish the release until all issues are solved, so check frequently for updates or turn on your auto-update. We understand that we didn't nail everything in the first release and if we broke something for you, we apologize! We promise we will be working hard to make you feel at home again.

6.0 Changelog:
- Completely new navigation system. Inoreader for iOS 6.0 is here! It's a major update that brings entirely new look and feel to the app. Read below to find out what has changed.

- Completely new navigation system. We feel that the new navigation is much simpler to understand and use, it's faster and will allow us to greatly expand the functionality of the app.
- Some special optimization for iPhone X have been made so you can enjoy Inoreader better on your AMOLED display and benefit from the larger screen estate.
- New default font optimized for reading.
- The search functionality has been enhanced with new search history and combined search for feeds and articles.
- The "Eye" menu is now opened via left swipe from the right corner of the screen.
- There's a completely new section called "Library", which houses your Tags, Active searches, Saved web pages and in the future will do quite a lot more.
- We have added a new "Recently read" section in the side menu, under Library.
- We have changed the concept around themes. We now support "Day" and "Night" more and for iPhone X we have a special AMOLED optimized "Night" mode.
- We have added a specially optimized article view for selected feeds. Try with "The Verge" for example. We plan to add this view to a lot more feeds.
- The comments section have been completely redesigned too.
