About Inside Tesla
Tesla employees can use Inside Tesla to browse the latest food menus, complete learning, read the latest news, view the employee directory, and access your mobile badge.
Mobile badging is now available for all employees.
Requires an iOS device with TouchID fingerprint sensor or FaceID (iPhone 5S or newer)
If you chose to enable it, Mobile Badging uses your location while the app is not running to detect readers using Bluetooth® and open doors without having to unlock your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your location information at any time.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

• The holidays are here, and ol' Saint Nick brought a sack full of goodies in the form of features and updates to the Inside Tesla mobile app! External browser activities now exist in-app.
• Now you can open a Teams message directly from the Employee Search. Go to Workplace > Employee Search, search and select a coworker, then click "Chat"!
• Push notifications also received a bit of polish.
• Updates to the login process now make visiting Tesla Apparel and Compensation faster and without the need of an additional login!
• You heard right: Compensation has been added to the Home page. I'm sure this was on someone's wish list.

- Approvals are now available via the Inside Tesla Mobile App! Navigate to Inbox Approvals by tapping on the Inbox icon at the top of the Home page, then swipe to approve or deny your Approval tasks, or select in bulk using the "Select" button at the top.
- You might also notice that we don't automatically ask for fingerprints or face scans at the Login page anymore. You can turn it back on in Profile > Settings and toggling "Auto-Biometrics" if you really miss it.

- Transportation has it's own little space now on the Workplace tab. Here, you can view your Parking Tier (if available), and quickly navigate to the Tripshot app for shuttle schedules. You'll also be prompted to register your vehicles if you haven't already done so.
- We've also tweaked some settings for biometrics, so now your login process should be as smooth as butter. Fingerprint and Face ID prompts will now automatically be set to enabled after logging in. You can disable this in Profile > Settings.
- We sprayed a little bit of bug-repellant in some corners of the app. Don't mind the smell.

- This release, we have a little something special for all you personal vehicle registration enthusiasts out there: you can now register your personal vehicles in the app! Whether it's an old 1960's VW Bug or 30 separate Tesla Model 3s in different shades of purple, you can now view, add, edit, and remove all your cars via Profile > Settings > Personal Vehicle Info.
- We're making the login process as smooth as possible, so now you're prompted to use biometric scanning instantly. To enable Face ID or Fingerprint, navigate to Profile > Settings and toggle Face ID/Fingerprint/Biometric Login to On.
