Dutch iWatermark+ is coming next thanks to volunteer proofreader Hans van Shaick.
We need proofreaders for the Korean and Japanese language versions. Not much is needed except to look at the translations in Google Sheets done by DeepL (machine translation) and approve them. It requires ability to read English and native or near native level skills in either or both Korean and Japanese.
These languages are finished, English, Spanish, French, Ukrainian, German, Vietnamese, Russian, Chinese (simplified)
We are set to do languages versions of iWatermark+ worldwide. Let us know if you’d like to help proofread your language then we can release a version of iWatermark+ in your country/language.

- This release is about dealing with the ever increasing thousands of photos that users keep on their iPhone.
- Added a new photo picker. it's title/name is, 'Select photos'. It's faster at rendering all thumbnails even with over 100k photos (yes, we tested it) on an iphone or ipad. It allows selecting one or many photos.
There is still the second photo picker called, ’Select photos (more info)’, because it can show and sort the photos based on format (jpg, png, gif, tiff, heic, etc…), modification date, creation date, resolution and invert (to reverse the order). The second picker could always do single and batches of photos. The second picker is slower because it’s sorting based on those different parameters. it's going to be slower at responding when a user has tens of thousands of photos.
The way to think of these 2 photo pickers. The new first one 'Select photos' is faster particularly with 10k+ photos. The second one ’Select photos (more info)’ is slower because it's does sorting by created date, modification date, resolution or format. But it's ability to sort, can be useful. Both can select any one photo or multiple photos.
- The 'pick' button in Graphic/Logo watermark now uses the (faster) photo picker.

This is a really important feature as it allows you now to backup all your valuable watermark creations you’ve spent time creating. Even better you can now share those watermark files with friends or within your company as the official watermark. To use it, we recommend backing up right away, go to the ‘Watermark List‘ where you’ll see 2 new icons.
- The box with up arrow in the bottom nav bar allows you to export/share/backup your watermarks.

- does more checking of input and output formats. also more display of the input and output formats and file extensions.
- one problem reported was that ‘Copy to Instagram’ sharesheet did not appear. we export watermarked files in the type they come in. if you import an .heic file then iWatermark+ exports a watermarked .heic file. ‘Copy to Instagram’ does not appear unless the file exported is a .jpg.
the solution is to use a .jpg in to see the ‘Copy to Instagram’ in the sharesheet. try it and you will see ‘Copy to Instagram’ is there. we think Instagram will update their app to allow the use of .heic files from the share sheet. this issue might be due to a different default preferences in system:photos which determine if a jpg is output or .heic.

- «Color» page has a «Eyedropper» icon, that allows picking a color from your photo to use in your watermark. we highly recommend using this to choose more subtle watermarks. for example your photo may have a sun setting over the blue ocean with mountains on the right. you can choose one of the golden colors of the sunset to use for your watermark on the darker right side in the mountains. this eliminates introducing a brand new color into the photo which might disturb it’s consistency and integrity. subtle is good.
- Font Picker — on the ‘Font' page preview font size by tap-n-drag. that means tap and hold on the preview and drag downwards to grow the size of the font or drag upwards to shrink the preview of that font.
- 3 Ways to Move Watermarks
— One the ‘Canvas’ page watermarks can be moved by finger anywhere on a photo.
— A second gesture on the ‘Canvas’ page that has greater precision is to tap a watermark then move you finger 1/2’ or 1” away and then move that watermark from a distace. This is particularly useful if your finger totally covers a watermark making it difficult to move exactly to the location you want. On the ‘Canvas’ page select a watermark by tapping on it now move your finger away from the watermark surrounding box, now if you tap and hold that watermark is no longer obscured by your finger and you can move it wherever you. This moves the watermark at any distance from the watermark. This gesture is extremely useful for adjusting watermarks on the fly. Also, it’s handy when an area is crowded by other watermarks.
— Watermarks can also be moved in a more precise way by ‘Nudge’ which can be found on any ‘Settings’ page then tapping on to the right of the bottom item ‘Position”. Then tap on ‘Nudge’ which is at the bottom of the ‘Position’ page. This will take you to the ‘Canvas’ page’ but, instead of the usual navigation buttons, you will see at the bottom 4 arrow icons. Click on these to get more precise movement of the selected watermark. Tap once to have the watermark move 1 pixel move up, down, left or right.

Tapping watermark’s icon reveals the Canvas right away, while

Before, exported file name would always have a “.MOV” extension.
Now it will be either “.MOV”, or “.MP4” or “.M4V”, depending on a

existing “Scan” button). It allows user to “scan” an existing
image, instead of one taken with a camera.
