Summer playtime is over! We thought it was time for a major update. We worked all summer on this while you guys were having all the fun. Even the back-end where all the magic happens was updated. The algorithm is all new and shiny. This release changes everything. We think it's brilliant. We've also fixed some bugs that were annoying us for months. Where we didn't even have time to push these fixes in small updates.
Let's summarize what's new:
* A next generation map UI. The map is 200% bigger which creates a stunning experiences to discover all the photos and videos dropped around you.
* The wall has disappeared. Yes, we dared! Instead it appears right on top of the map so you get a better picture of what's happening around you. As a bonus this makes the experiences seamlessly fit with the natural the motion of your thumb.
* You get notification updates when you're close to a private or public locked Wink. This new app and our algorithm work seamlessly together to notify you when your close. So you don't ever have to miss a photo or video you’re close to again.
* A big share button in the center off the bottom menu making it much easier for you to be seen and heard. Just one tap to take you to our sharing experience.
* An all new challenges UI with new categories. Open, done and sent. Making more sense of all the challenges your friend throw at you.
* We've removed mobile verification on sign up. We believe you're real. We trust you. If you decide to deceive us our new robot check designed by AI will catch you in no time.
* Added translation. We’re available in Dutch now. Made sense ‘cause we're Dutch. The amazing new codebase makes it easy for us to add new languages in the near future. Vamos a hacer. Werden wir tun. Aiommeko tehdä. Sille wy dwaan. 私たちはするつもりですか. 我們要做什麼
